<div class="quote_poster">Quoting durvasa:</div><div class="quote_post">His rankings aren't meant to be the seeds they'll get in the playoffs. Otherwise, why bother going past 8? He's ranking how good the team will be overall. But, yeah, some weird choices. Denver will not get the third seed -- no way. And I think Dallas will be just as good as last year. Sacremento will be worse, but I think they'll have enough to beat out the Lakers for the division title.</div> I disagree. Now that the Lakers have a young shotblocker (Eddie Griffin has agreed to terms with Lakers ) we get an extra boost and Kobe and Lamar will be a dangerous duo. Kobe is up to 230 in muscle... Last time we saw Kobe at his best was in 2002-2003 when he was 220 (That year he: Did those windmills on Minny and NY, dunked on Yao, did the 270 behind the back on Denver, etc., etc.) I can't wait! The Lakers will be better than the Kings, easily.
I actually agree with steve kerr. Lakers wont be up there without shaq though all u laker fans might think otherwise just remember THE DREAM HAS GONE!!!!!!! Spurs and Minnesota are 4 sure top teams and then Denver and Utah will definetly do well. But one thing FORGET SOMEONE! DALLAS AND SACREMENTO!!!!!

It doesent say anything about Griffin signing or the likes on neither NBA.com nor the Lakers homepage.
