Stotts should have won the award easily.
It's heartbreaking because I'm pretty sure he'll never be given another shot by the NBA machinery.

I'm actually more annoyed that Lillard wasn't voted by the coaches to be an all star, though.

When we win 60 games next season, Stotts might win it. It's all good though. There is a COTY jinx. A lot of them get fired soon after winning the award.

I look at Kerr like I look at spolstra, except kerr gets a little respect. I had never heard spolstra's name until he was handle LeBron, Bosh, and wade on a silver platter. Im supposed to be impressed by his coaching cause his team is stacked enough to make Nate McMillan look good? Fuck spolstra and fuck the warriors. Stotts was supposed to finish 29th and probably lose his job while the blazers wasted lillards prime. Instead we are winning a fucking championship. Sure, pops is a great coach, but he got David west for free on a stacked team cause ring chasers. Fuck his season too.

    Stotts 1
And imo prob stevens 2 even though im not a Celtic fan, he's got those guys playing pretty good this season.
Then you can have your kerr and your pops participation trophies.

FYI. Erick Spolstra was the starting point guard for four seasons @ the Univeristy of Portland. Erick’s sister and their dad Jon Spolstra worked for the Trailblazers (10 years).

Erick did have a stacked team in Miami. But he did a great job of handling the giant egos of both the players, and Pat Riley, not an easy job.

After the best player in the NBA, King James, left for Cleveland, Eric’s roster has overachieved, and is now either the 2nd or 3rd best team in the East.

I believe Erick’s value and contribution as coach of the Heat has been underrated.
