If only..somehow..Nash was able to play in D'Antoni's system for most of his career...imagine his numbers, wow! In Dallas he didn't get to have the ball in his hands half as much as he does now...he dominates the ball on offense. Thats a lot of assists, nice game.

This year I think he'll play well enough to deserve it, he could be the first player since 1992 to average 20 and 10 in a season, but he won't get it so it'll just even out like that. He was just throwing it to Barbosa for easy lay-ups. The Kings transition D was the worst I've ever seen.

For every assist, there's at least 2 points.
I dont get how he cant get 40 asts a game hes just passing whenever he gets the chance, and with the great shooters he has, why not. he should go for a record game and just pass the whole time

I would think it would be hard for Nash not to get 20 assist. He's practically got an all-star lineup and it's a fast pace game. Unfortunately all that talent is wasted because they don't play defense and therefore won't win a championship.
That is flat out remakrable. It is kinda weird because we have seen a decent amount of guys get around 15 and what not this year, but when somebody gets 5 more than that, it is astonishing to hear. I guess there is just that big of a difference...

No matter who is around you though or how fast paced your team is, 20 assists is impressive, it shows how well he can find the open person.

Are you telling me just because he might not win a ring(this has yet to be fact), that all he's done in the NBA is meaningless?
No but that's the main goal to win a championship. Everything else is nice but without the title it doesn't mean as much. I was speaking that Phoenix has superior talent to other teams but it's all into the offense and not a mix of offense and defense.
Then you don't know much about the team. They started off terrible but are becoming a better and better defensive team. Their defense will be good enough to win them a championship and with Amare their O won't be 1-demensional and hoping all the shots go in. Kinda dumb though to say they won't win the championship since last year without Amare they did pretty well, probably would've taken you to game 7 if Raja wasn't injured and then who really knows? And now their defense and offense will be better.Dallas is better too of course...
