Lolz, well I was just into cool players, lolz. Then I started watching Mavs, and Dirk was cool. So was Van Exel. I used to be a Van Exel fan .

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>-Dirk Nowitzki: Worked very hard on his defense, and is possibly one of the best defenders in the league when it comes to guarding the pick-and-roll, and sometimes even the perimeter</div>OH...MY...GOD..Ever wondered why people dont respect you? Read over that post and tell me if it is fair or not.

He's over the hill and still the same volume shooter that shoots you into a game or out of a game. Good thing Spurs don't have to play him if he's not on.Also, Mavs have a younger version in Terry, so no need.
I think Van Axel really did have 48 points in a playoff game. I think it was that double OT game vs the Kings

HERE is the box score for the game.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>i'm positive it was Van exel who came off the bench....</div>Yea, I was thinking of Dirk and Bonzi's duel in their series when both put up 40+. I didn't remember Van Exel going off close to 50.Just saw pj bring the box score up.

Nash is playing badly in the playoffs, yes, but looka t it this way: What Kobe Bryant is doing to the Suns this series, is what Steve Nash does every single game for the Suns in the regular season. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>No, he should have gotten MVP because he averaged 35 a game. And in Phoenix he was the third option! Does that tell you anything? That hurt your argument big time. Yous aying Nash does trash to make his team good also didn't help either, because all it did was reveal you to simply be a hater
Kobe or LeBrontop 5 for me is5. Chauncey Billups DET4. Steve Nash PHX3. Dirk Nowitzki DAL2. LeBron James CLE1. Kobe Bryant LALget it right NBA!!!
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Lakaboy42 @ May 1 2006, 04:10 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Nash is playing well in this series, it's his teammates who've played bad.</div> But his teammates are bad according to everyone so apparently Steve Nash isn't making them the good players they were during the season.
He has been carrying that team all year, the guy could just be exhausted, as anyone would, that's as old as him, and plays the all out way he does every play.
The NBA MVP is just tired in the first round of the playoffs, when it all matters, thats it. That's a pathetic excuse.
A pathetic excuse? Except for last night's 4th quarter Nash has been playing very well in the playoffs. He is about the only one on the Suns who is playing decent ball right now. Boris Diaw is doing alright but most of the guys' there are in a funk. But of course, this will be all blamed on Nash
When Michael Jordan won the MVP award he wasn't averaging 10 assist a game, When Karl Malone won it he wasn't either, Nor was Shaq or Tim Duncan. The NBA MVP award is suppost to go to the best player in the league which was Kobe Bryant this season. Nobody even came close to the kind of things Kobe was doing but because alot of people not like him he didnt win it. Yes the NBA has changed since the 90's but the fact of the matter is in the end the name of the award is most valuable player award not most valuable team player award. Kobe should have won.
