Orlando was 1-9 in their last 10. Until tonight. The Lakers couldn't even manage to lose to them without Pau Gasol.
Honestly, I think it's time for a new coach. A coach that has a team that relies on the outside shot in order to win, has the center (Lopez) constantly outside the paint, doesn't adjust to the style of the game, does not have plays to get players open in the paint, and doesn't coach defense needs to go. It was brutal watching a team who was 19 and 52 just man handle the 5th team in the West!! I'm disgusted. Stotts needs to GO!!
Oh, and let's pass SOME blame to the players. What is up with the SLOPPY passing?!? It's like watching a high school team play!!
The greatest GM of all time did it this way, on both the Sonics and Blazers: He always made trades at the Midseason Trading Deadline. Getting a couple of eager new players for deadwood energized the rest of the team and gave the fans a buzz for the 2nd half of the season. Olshey was lazy and didn't trade Claver and Leonard. So the team is asleep on autopilot like a plane headed toward Antarctica.
These players are lost. Either they went north, where zombies kidnapped their brains and killed them. Or they went south, where sharks ate them.
I was actually trying to help you. You seem very fragile at the moment, so I think it's best that everyone just avoid stating facts in your presence. Man, even when I do you a favor... I can't win.
You know what's funny, is that this is the 3rd year in a row we've taken a nose dive at the end of the season. 3 years ago, that's what got Nate McMillen fired, then we ended last year on a 13 game losing streak after hovering around .500 most of the year. Why doesn't this team finish strong?
