Come on, whats that got to do with Lake Oswego!?

Btw, funny note...Nadine Woodard is now the Mayor of Spokane, Wa. Imagine Tracy Barry being the Mayor of Portland, or Joe Becker.

Lake O is a great place. Like many cities in Oregon, we have a beautiful State.

There are a few less affluent areas but I doubt if you could find a shack for less than $350,000 in Lake Oswego.
We also have the lowest crime rate in the state.

That would be very surprising to me, since I lived there until I moved to California in 2012, but maybe things have changed - it sure was a nice middle-class to upper-middle-class neighborhood before, but it was not anything ostentatious.

FWIW - it was not a town when I lived there, it was an unincorporated area - and I believe it still is, but maybe I am wrong.

Clearly there are plenty of “rich kids” in Lake Oswego. But i live there and we are not rich people. I live here because the schools, it’s safe, it’s beautiful. I like almost everyone i have met here. It drives me crazy how it is perceived. I understand it I guess, but it sucks. When we play teams outside of LO you hear it and you know they think we are a bunch of rich people and the majority of the people we are friends with I would not call “rich”.

He was trying to say that he was born in one of the "several" states of something something. Just came out like he was a big idiot.

I use to go to a nice topless bar in Sherwood just to have something different to look at. I started going to topless bars when the Longhorn saloon first opened in about 1969. They had to wear pasties in those days. Of course you could always watch a live sex show where the male participant was a volunteer from the audience. Never went to that. I did have my lower limit.
Mamasans had photos of girls having sex with a donkey and other photos of girls have sex with a dog. God, that was gross. It was all I could do to stare at it. Never bought one though. Never bought the weed that was displayed between the layers of material that they were ostensibly offering for sale as part of some garment, never knew what kind of garment. I bought everything I needed at the PX. Couldn't buy booze because you needed to be both 21 and an E-5 sergeant or above. I was a 20 year old E-4 corporal.
I've got all the trivia you require on this rainy shelter at home day. No need to watch Sly's paint dry.

Yes, ha ha ha ha ha ha, no wait, I think he said he was born in several states but not the United States. I think he was either high on something or mentally not all there. If he was having mental issues then his family should have made sure that he didn't get out of sight.

Sherwood’s pretty similar I bet. Although we probably had a few more leftover poor “stragglers” and farm kids from before the town blew up. I was one of them, but really hung out with everyone from rich to poor. We had a pretty diverse crew growing up, which worked out handy in a lot of ways. Hillbilly bonfires and sleeping in shitty campers in the summertime and mansion house parties when it was raining. All inclusive.

Back in the 60's those Oswego chicks were easy to pick up. And Lake Oswego and West Linn were 3A schools.

What was their mascot, a giant asshole?

Edit: Hey maybe I shouldn't have said that. That's what I get for drinking high balls to pass the time.

I knew you were drinking when you talked about strip clubs in Sherwood. I bet however, you were a regular at Mary' Club?

I may have visited Mary's club a time or two. It's the only place where I left a nearly full beer because I can't stand Pabst Blue Ribbon and that's all they served. I don't think you can think of a topless bar in Portland that I didn't frequent a time or two. I've been in topless bars in 7 cities in four states. Oregon's are the most friendly of all and by far. I felt more isolated from others in the topless bars in the other three states, Wa., Mo. and NY. I remember when the raid to free the hostages in Iran failed the day I went to a topless bar in Portland. It was all the talk in the joint. Even the dancers joined in.
