ummm, I would think it common knowledge, it is unacceptable for the President to be getting BJs by interns in the Oval office. Period! Then to compound it by wagging the finger at us... well you know, lie! I have know idea what Trump did before he became President and I do not really want to hear it.
You don't even want to hear what he did after he was elected and again after he became President. But Mueller's gonna open some ears.
Trump just admitted to affair. And to using an alias. And to paying her off to cover up the affair. Glad that's settled.
My God, the next time you need legal help you'd best get a lawyer and then follow his advice otherwise you're gonna be in real trouble. Even Ken Starr found nothing illegal in that.
It is against the law to lie about it. It left him highly susceptible to blackmail. Which was a huge problem for our great nation. This also applies to Trump, thankfully through the actions of his attorneys today, Trump took one potential blackmail problem away.
Yeah, actually, there is. Per the UCMJ. But any sitting President is iffy on whether he qualifies or not as C-in-C. And let's set one thing straight. He didn't get impeached for a blowjob, illegal or not. He got impeached for lying under oath about the blowjob, impeding the investigation on the propriety of the blowjob, getting others to lie about the blowjob, and trying to cover up the aftermath of the blowjob . Whether or not it was a workplace sexual assault or not, or whether he fell under the fraternization laws wasn't, to the best of my knowledge, part of the impeachment proceedings. The sexual harassment of Paula Jones was settled by paying her 850k. The abuse of power charges weren't approved. (edited to clarify first line. Wasn't talking about Trump, but was unclear)
Well maybe the UCMJ might not apply to the C in C. But interns are off limits in just about every decent company as I recall. I think that is why Clinton seemed like such a disappointing dirt bag.
Maybe... maybe not. Looks like both sides have good lawyers now (Cohen is not a good lawyer), should be an interesting fight. barfo
How many Congressmen have had sexual affairs and gotten away with it Scott free? More than one, I'll guess. I didn't say he was an Angel. But he is a civilian and does not fall under the Uniform Code of Military Justice. Trump, on the other hand, has broken so many laws plus lied, cheated, stole, had brazen affairs, appears to have raped some very young models and done stuff in Russia that has him over a barrel. There's your real dirt bag. Kind of a maggot, actually.
