It's how I expect Lillard, who is our team leader, to be. And he has never shown me anything to think otherwise. I'm not trying for a perfect world.

Isn’t he still under contract? We’d have to get permission to talk to him.

I don't blame players for taking a knee and I don't blame people for standing.

    Neither makes a person racist.

Our agent can talk to his. He can quit. This is how things are done.

If we can't get a great coach we shouldn't have made a change. If we could have gotten a great coach years ago and didn't we screwed up.
That's what I've been saying all along.

Neither Kidd or Billups is a great coach. If we had to settle for one I'd pick Billups by a mile. But I'd be disappointed.

I don't see Pat Riley saying no to giving permission. He seems pretty secure in his relationship with his coach and his ability to replace him if necessary.

if spoelstra gets fired, which he wont, or if he says he wants to leave, which he also wont, you can bet every team in the league would want him

even those teams that just hired a new head coach lol

I don’t like Stotts coaching style but say what you want. That man is a class act. Thank you coach

And we should offer more. If we aren't interested in that then we aren't interested in competing. Not having a good coach (who will help us to be as/more competitive as we have been) will cost us far more than paying a top flight coach.

    You've convinced me!

HIRE PAT RILEY as HC and Billups, Hammon, and Udoka as assistants. Let Riley coach for a year then fire Olshey and make him GM! He can pick his coach from our assistants.

It would be like the NBA's version of The Bachelor. "And the winner of the coaching rose is..."

Hopefully his bags are packed and his stench has left the city. Can’t happen soon enough from my perspective. Stotts’ unprecedented tenure may be talked about for years as a cautiounary tale of how a bad (terrible?) coach can squander the prime of a once-in-a-generation talent like Lillard.

Terry has been a class act and has left us with countless stories of what an awesome person he is. This thread is stupid and over the top. Oh yeah fuck commies and that stupid hacker show. And Nurk is a soft bitch. Hugs. Did I do it right?

This thread is totally classless and a horrible reflection on Blazer fans.

Class act or not doesn’t discount the fact that he was a terrible terrible terrible basketball coach. The moderate success he had was solely based on having a generational talent on his team to cover up his strategic flaws.
