Can we talk about how good the second season is? I know that it hasn't been out long, so some people haven't had a chance to binge it. I will not purposefully post spoilers, but I really want to talk about it. Ok, one spoiler, and it's nothing big, but I legitimately teared up at the end when Nancy swooped in and danced with Dustin. Sorry for the spoiler. Not a major plot point.
I loved it! Spoiler The 11-centric episode was cool, but seemed out of place. Interesting to know others are out there. I wonder if they will come in to play in future seasons, or if the episode was just to show character growth for 11.
Also, love the Season 2 Steve! I remember some Senior guys hanging out with me when I was a Freshman. It means a ton to young guys growing up, so to see Steve and Dustin hanging out was cool.
And Billy is the hero we all need! His basketball defensive prowess and between the legs finishing ability at the rim is superb! Spoiler And you know he banged Nancy's mom with the dad in the next room.
HOLD THE FUCK UP are we not gonna talk about how episode 7 was pointless though? so out of place, hated the episode though I understand it was done for character development, it felt rushed and the whole eleven in the city thing was fucking odd. Other than that, obviously loved the show because good show is good show
Are we not gonna talk about one of the older kids is british and was just busted for cocaine so he can't work/act in the US anymore?
The clue was he mentioned The Smiths last season, when no kid in Indiana in 1983 would've heard of them. (The clue he's British, not that he's a cocaine user.) I learned about his bust when some LA resident on Twitter tweeted: "Dude - we have tons of cocaine here - you didn't have to bring your own."
They should replace the kid with a new character, super friendly uncle! Kevin Spacey would be a great choice.
I am enjoying Paul Reiser reprising his "slimy scientist-type" from Aliens 30-odd years later. I am NOT enjoying the cartoonish LA douchebag (Billy?) who looks about 30.
or the fact that actors voice is so different than his American accent he puts on for the show. Was crazy when I listened to it on that after show. We are talking Netflix here and Stranger things is their fucking baby, they will find a way to get that kid back into the country for season 3. Name your price, they will match it. I read that Netflix actually wanted to have the Duffer brothers film season 3 and 4 back to back so that the kids didn't age too much between seasons. Duffer brothers sees this going 4 seasons but Netflix will try to milk this shit, throw ridiculous amounts at the Duffer brothers to continue, then watch us get some spin off show after
