<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Air Pietrus:</div><div class="quote_post">Mullin is planning on spending a pick on a SF, we won't need a PG if we do the trade that sends Posey and J-Will over here. Cheany will be gone and we can waive DD or something</div> What makes you say that Mullin is planning on spending a pick on a SF? Anyway the team is so young (average age less then 25 years old if you take out DD, CRob, and Cheaney) that I would bet Mullin will either use the pick in a trade, or draft the best player regardless of position and use in a trade. Assuming we'll be losing some vets either by the trade deadline or in the offseason, we'll have a very young team and could use some solid vets in here.
^I hope so. I really want to see Stale Davis, The Towel, and Uncle Cliffy gone (Cliffy I ove, but he is going to have to get out of here in order for Biedrins to play a lot
You don't like Dale Davis? D-Square? He hasn't been getting any PT because he's an expiring contract or he's trade bait, but he's a very good defender and tough rebounder. Had I known he wasn't going to be playing this year, we should have just stuck with Nick Van Exel so we wouldn't have to throw down all that money for Fisher. Nick's got way more talent and a lot more value as a scorer and assists guy.
^Davis just hasn't been looking good on the court. I think he could be good as a mentor for Biedrins though
We need Biedrens to step up on both ends of the floor soon because Cliff goes down and we're even worse than before on defense. I know Biedrens might not even be good, but we need to figure out how we can improve the area we're the worst in. Scoring is nice and all, but it's no good if you can't make defensive stops and all you're doing is trading baskets.
Is it me or does Dunleavy seem to be the last Warrior you see before the other team's shot goes down. Pick any kind of defense: perimeter/post/transition/man-to-man/zone/team defense/weakside help... we stink.
