The funny thing about this is, he (like Obama and both Clintons, were never going to do anything progressive. They're not progressives, they're moderate Republicans in reality.
I think moderate is the only term needed...there are way more moderates than there are hard left or right wing voters...there are plenty of republicans willing to waste money...see the debt leap that just occurred over the last 4 years....can I get a WALL?
Bingo and that why I voted for Joe because I think he's be the one to mediate (bring people together) conciliate (offer ideas and suggestions compromise!) and if needed arbitrate (be the judge and decide). If we go down the road of polarized politics our kids and grandkids will not be people/people and know or understand what compromise even is! they will be soldiers of extremism and its happening now.
That shirt (err...sweater) I got her, it was just to meet a $50 threshold for spending to get a free $25 gift card. I got myself this shirt: https://www.bullzerk.com/collections/mens-tees/products/this-is-my-going-to-the-moon-t-shirt
Gotta love folks who think spending 35 bucks means you will get free stuff......it just means they've changed the price tags to meet the quota! Call today and get TWO...that's right TWO sweaters for 19.99 and wait, there's more! (The sweater cost them 50 cents wholesale from a sweatshop in Honduras.)
She actually loved it, her favorite color and her hometown. https://www.bullzerk.com/products/d...73067&pr_ref_pid=6212222419115&pr_seq=uniform I'm pretty lucky she's not as materialistic as I am lolz.
The sweater was $50, but they were running a promo for them to be $35. Then if you spent $50, you get a $25 gift card.
yeah...you're not married yet dude...she's going to spring the big items on you as soon as you sign the papers....we're talkin' HOUSE!!!!!!! Once the babies come....you ain't shoppin anymore for yo' self.....enjoy it now!
My wife loves those deals.....she's not materialistic either but when she wants something...she'll get it
Our son got married a few years ago and the bride's dad paid for everything but the catering...we paid for that and helped rent tux's for the entourage.....bought the bridesmaids flowers ..etc...not bad.
I went into a furniture store with her a while back. They were running a deal where it was 30% off the whole store. The sales guy tells me this, and I tell him "I want 50%" and he said he could do that. lol I didn't end up buying, we were just browsing around .
I'm not big into weddings at all and I think its a waste of money. Rather spend that money on the bachelor party
I got married in the courthouse in Taipei with about 30 other couples at the same time....really cheap...then my father in law booked the restaurant and had the huge wedding dinner with all the relatives 3 days later and after it was over...the guests paid for it and we actually made money from the deal....gave it to my father in law to help offset his expenses ....the Taiwanese are very smart about the economics of marriage...the couple usually comes out of a wedding with money to start a life together...my job was to stay upright while slamming shots with relatives I was meeting for the first time and greeting them with a tray of Long Life cigarettes.....best name for a cigarette brand ever
I actually told her that we should request no gifts. Turn down free money, yo, but she shot down that idea.
Lets just say our daughter in law has a father who's pretty well off and raised her by himself....in our case....I let him pay...he would have covered everything but we insisted on at least helping out with the catering and rentals...
She's cheaper than I am. I spend too much money on dumb crap. I'm just a better negotiator. I make fun of her for shopping at Ross and Walmart.
I like that you think you'll have a choice in who she marries...they still arrange some marriages in Taiwan but that's pretty much died out unless the daughter has zero prospects
