Maybe people voted for Trump in 2016 because they saw no change in the previous 40 years when it comes to policy making. It was all cronyism and fighting over mundane details that hardly affect one’s day to day. fair enough, I do still think more swing voters are likely to go to Trump though. Read it however you will, but mass migrations out of urban centers into red states due to leftist riots and regulation doesn’t exactly scream “democratic shift”. And the only people who seem to be buying the latest ambiguous, constantly changing scandal are the people already against Trump so I see no change there.
