Damian Lillard is on and the Blazers seemed headed up the standings before an implosion against the Bulls Saturday. They have two more games (Bucks, Warriors) before the trade deadline. Josh Hart and Jusuf Nurkic are said to be being shopped by the Blazers. Several names have come up in trade rumors including Jarred Vanderbilt, OG Anunoby, and John Collins.

    Give us your best guess:
What moves will the Blazers make before the trade deadline?

Is Shaedon Sharpe really so good that you wouldn't trade him to Toronto to win now and get OG? Canadians seem to think he's the next Vinsanity for the Raptors. Of course there'd be more players or picks involved but it sounds like they are hot for the rookie in Toronto!

good enough to not want to table our potential future for what maybe a slight upgrade.... do i want dame to get a chip? yes but not at the futures expense either... i just am not convinced OG would be the thing to "push us over the edge" maybe if the roster was different and we didnt have so many holes in it but right now that trade is lateral at best imo....

fair enough but the question was for Eric and Chris's podcast, I disagree that OG is a lateral trade...his defense is as good as it gets in the league and he gives you length...to win now, Sharpe isn't playoff ready or close yet...OG is a win now piece. I think it's a good debate in the end. You don't get OG without value in the trade...

Sharpe and Little have about the same contract. If the Blazers have to trade one of these players to stay under the cap, which guy should they keep?

My opinion only but the similar size of the contract is not what you would look at in trading either of them.

If you need salary filler you trade Little.

Sharpe's value, being that he has demonstrated potential star talent in the future, is worth more than the dollar amount of his contract.

My bad I was thread hopping like a mother effer during a slow work day didn’t realize what thread this was. Whoopsies.

And I do agree you don’t get og without giving up value. I just don’t know if sharpe is the value id want to trade when I feel like we’re not quite contenders for the chip quite yet to want to do it. But definitely a good question to debate.
