Not to mention, that essentially, our worst pitcher pitched that game.and whoever suggested not to start Randy, we have to...we are paying him too much to have sit as our long reliever or as our 5th starter</div>Damon was playing shallow in Center Field to set himself up for a throw to home (Since his Arm is compareable to that of a Younger Bernie Williams (mediocre at best). Once Wright hit that ball that far, Damon didnt have any chance of bringing it in. Although he did a pretty good job of trying. Your worst starting pitcher pitched that game? Our #8 Starter (Pedro, Glavine, Trachsel, Bannister(DL), Zambrano(Out For Year), Maine(DL), Lima, Gonzalez) was pitching. I dont see how you can complain about sending Randy Johnson to the mound against a teams #8 Starting Pitcher. I guess injuries are only crippleing when they affect the Yankees now, right? [IMG] [IMG]</div>ur right, Randy Johnson shouldve won that game...yet, if this was ayone BESIDES randy johnson pitching like this, they woud be in the minors right now

But getting your asses owned repeatably by the White Sox isnt 'intense'. The Cubs have been lucky if they are still in the game come the third inning. The Subway Series (The real one at least) is non-stop, edge of your seat action with hatred towards the cross town team. It made me sick to my stomach to watch the Mets blow the game away today.

Except this year they suck balls, and last year the white sox were the best team in the league.

"Cubs Suck" is still their entire vocabulary. They still think the Cubs are their enemy. They were happy when Lee broke his wrist. They're the worst fans ever.

Mets won the series 2-1, Should have been 3-0 sweep if not for a Wagner meltdown, but he rebounded nicely today. Glavine for 6 innings, Heilman 7, Sanchez 8, Wagner 9 = Dominance. Delgado and Wagner both hit home runs and Wright is proving to be great in the clutch. Although itd be nice if he showed more power. Bring on those Phillies! [IMG]

A-Rod sucks.

the mets played really well, except for inings 9-11 in game 2...they deserved to win it....ARod is really frustrating....its really aggravating that i have more confidence in Andy Philips or Miguel Cairo to get important hits than him
