Jesus Christ - didn't we get Felton because Andre couldn't hit threes? Felton bricked so many that he got gunshy and passed up the most open three ever just when we needed it. He got outplayed by the Jazz's backup, the very definition of "journeyman". If we had an AVERAGE PG we might actually be good. What the hell happened to Felton?
(And as for Crawford - getting blocked by Justin Bieber? Hang your head in shame!)

I posted this in the game thread about why Matthews is struggling this year, but I'll put it here too because I think it's relevant.

I honestly think if we replace Failton with an above average PG, we're contenders. They can even keep Crawful. He at least brings something to the team unlike Failton. And having an above avg PG will allow Nate to leave Crawful on the bench when he's in tunnel vision mode.

Oh, and here's the charts incase anyone is too lazy to click on the links. Left is last year, right is this year:

To think where would we be right now had we kept Andre Miller and drafted Kenneth Faried? I think our record would be way better

I disliked that trade from the get go. I was high on Farie, but I didn't realize we would miss Miller THIS much.

    Shit, I wish we knew.

There's been two surprises for me this year (aside from Roy preemptively retiring ahead of the amnesty) One is Gerald Wallace home and away being so different and the other is Raymond Felton having his worst season as a pro in a contract year and just 12 months removed from his brilliant first half of 2010-2011 ... I've seen him play kind of a lot and stats aside he never looked this horrible.

Maybe the Blazers really are allergic to point guards and centers?

I'm sure it's already been said by everybody but this is my first chance to vent. How can a team win when it's 3 against 5 every night!!!??? 13 for 50 between matthews crawford and Felton and the two socalled point guards both had more turnovers than assists!

And I know somebody said that 30 teams passed on jeremy Linn but only 3 or 4 teams desperately need a good young point guard and of course we are one of them!

Exactly, I'm excited what Elliot Williams could bring as a PG but wait again Nate doesn't ever give them experience unless its a 30 point blowout and 8 minute playing time. I'm tired of the Nate system. Bring Mills back and let Williams and him get exp.
