not really, i actually believe what I'm posting so I don't know how I'm "trolling". I think its bullshit KP couldn't trade this asset for which we've heard about for years and years as part of the genius of Tom Penn.
SO: List of possible Targets: PG: Ramon Sessions SG: None SF: Josh Childress PF: David Lee C: None anything else?
Also, can someone explain how we will just waive Blake/Outlaw? http://hoopshype.com/salaries/portland.htm
In 2007 the same FA's were still in play as they are now. So to be promised a "SF superstar" as you put it simply isn't possible since there are no such stars available in the offseason of '09. Although I will say this... Back in 2007 the Lakers were in relatively bad shape, Kobe wanted out and KP knew his contract had a clause in it that releases him this offseason. Perhaps KP wanted Kobe? A nice, far out, thought but nothing more at this point.
Are you going to figure out that players can be traded in the summer and what being under the cap means in that instance, or are you just going to continue to look like a fool?
So let's assume it's maybe twenty pages of 8X14 legal paper ... that's roughly 3 or 4 ounces, with gold currently trading at $976 an ounce, meaning his contract is worth about $3000-$4000? Sounds about right to me.
It's not worth discussing with you at this point since you have been wrong on many levels all day. Besides, I am happy with watching the current roster fight for a playoff spot. Get back to me after you're up to speed after the season.
so suddenly the Summer 09 plan is "we'll just see what happens when we get there?" what a crock of shit. the summer 09 was the justification for the ZBO trade as it was going to be huge....now that its upon us, there's no knockout free agents and the cap space is transparent at best.
I'd at least expect the leader of the KP hatred tonight to have his facts somewhat in line, but you didn't. Since you are reacting simply on emotion, I just can't take anything you post seriously.
What facts am I missing here? I'm not, I'm speculating on this summer. I don't think we're going to make a big splash really. I don't think the atmosphere is ideal for us to wheel and deal, nor do I think we will really do that much other than possibly make a small trade for a role player type of player, such as a defensive stopper or a backup PF. I think renouncing Outlaw and Blake is foolish. I really don't see huge improvements in this roster other than players we currently have getting more burn and experience.
