You need to think for a minute before tossing out big names like Monroe. He is a RFA, is rumored to want a max contract and plays the same position as our best player. We wouldn't have the money to sign Monroe to a max deal this off season is the big thing. We would have to trade for him and the cost of that alone would be high. Add in LMA on a max contract, Lillard on a max, Batums contract and Monroe on a max and we would only be able to afford 1 year vet minimum contracts after 2015. Ok but either way, If CJ can really play then loosing Mathews may not be as big as some make it out to be. That's all I'm saying.
Someone like Granger would be a nice addition assuming he can remain healthy and his 10 million a year deals are behind him.
