Nice to have leverage and be on someone else's speed dial. I'm skeptical Giannis gets moved even though that's what they should do.

I have reg contact with a roundball junkie from Milwaukee, he seems to think its possible, they may give it one more year with some roster changes. Who knows?

I hope so. One more run-it-back run makes the Portland picks/swaps perhaps more valuable to the Bucks than New Orleans, who will control only one more of their drafts.

Joe should hold on to those picks for dear life until the offers are too good to refuse. So far nothing I have seen proposed is close enough. If Gianni’s leaves MIL is is better to keep those picks since they have to tear it down to the studs

Depends. If we can get excellent value for them in a Giannis trade, I say do it.

pretty sure that all of the "excellent value" in a Giannis trade will go to Milwaukee

yeah, I'm just having trouble with the notion the Blazers can get enough value for the unprotected 2029 1st in a Giannis trade to make it worthwhile.

Yeah I have no idea what value they have or how interested Milwaukee is in getting them back..... but we should at least be open to the idea.

sure. But, I'd think the Bucks, if they are dumping Giannis, would place a lot higher value on 2025-2027 picks than a pick in 2029

I'd be most interested in Amen Thompson and Reed Shepard. Short of either, I'd hold onto the picks.

For sure. I think New Orleans is in a better spot.

Did Houston get shafted in the Bridges deal?

No reason we should be shafted - we just say no thanks in that case. Only reason for us to do a deal is if we receive more value than we send out.

Houston owns a number of unprotected Phoenix picks. Those look pretty damn good as well. Might be the Bucks prefer their own pick just as Brooklyn did.

2025 lottery is set and over. While teams might want a 2025 pick no team cares about controlling their own once the lottery is done.

Pelicans have one Milwaukee swap and one unprotected pick. We have more, in a 2nd swap plus our best 2029 effectively has two swaps in it. So we effectively own 4 unprotected swaps and an unprotected pick.

I want Jabari Smith Jr, Domantas Sabonis and any other buy low opportunities that have a ceiling of a championship role player. No giveaways
