    Sell them on Jerami Grant!

I'd probably give up a pick for the swap.

I’ve asked about Darius Garland a couple times before. Would you include Scoot in a trade for Garland?

Yes if it's just Scoot and one of our crappy overpaid vets. If we have to throw in picks too then no.

Cavs aren't going to want Scoot but maybe a 3rd team would. Doubt he has enough value for us to do a deal so I expect to just root for Scoot.

Scoot and a crappy vet? Cavs would hang up the phone. Garland is an all star and that’s what the Blazers need.

Garland isn't an all-star leading a team to a title. There's a reason Cleveland is prioritizing Mobley and Mitchell over him.

Yes I highly doubt a trade could make sense. Our vets suck and yes Cleveland would need a starter for a deal.

Think we're going to have to hope to luck into an all-star in the draft or get a vet that improves like Deni.

I'd imagine the reason is next season, they are 10M OVER the 2nd apron with only 11 players. And their payroll increases by 13M the next season with only 9 players under contract. In 2026-27, Garland and Allen combine for 70M in salary; next season, 60M. The Cavs have dug an exceptionally deep tax and apron hole; and they just got blitzed 4-1 in the 2nd round. They desperately need to cut salary

I think Chauncey knows enough about his guards and the kind of players they will be. He knows by now who should be our 1/2 guards. This is strictly a pull out of the ass scenario. We keep Simons and package either Shae or Scoot to trade up or trade for? I think he's wants to keep Thy.

I was assuming that was a Tisse reference Matisse Thybulle. That's my best guess. I don't think we should move Matisse just to move him but there might be teams willing to give up a piece that makes sense.

Both Tisse and Rob can be traded into a team's MLE if they don't mind being hard capped but like I said, I would need a return for either one of those guys and while I don't think either would fetch a FRP right now I think it would be more like multiple second rounders or us packaging them with multiple SRPs for a protected FRP, type of thing.

I don't see it. If Thybulle has MLE value, let alone that plus 2nd round pick(s), his agent will instead have him opt out and a team just signs him outright.

TRob hasn't been healthy in years - I don't see how he'd fetch a 2nd unless we take on an even worse contract.

I expect both will be here for the start of the season, unless they match salaries in a larger trade, but if they play well then maybe would fetch a 2nd round pick during the season. Their both good locker room guys and willing to accept lesser roles unlike Ayton/Grant/Ant.
