    Why?
He's long, plays good D. Wallace was a bigger leaper, Collins moves his feet better. Still, very similar.

Collins moves his feet better than any Blazer 4 I can remember. That is all of them.

Given that the Blazers are one of the worst fastbteak teams in the NBA, I would welcome with open arms Wade Baldwin pushing the ball in transition with the second unit this next season.

It's just surprising, and I totally disagree. 100%, unequivocally. Olshey said this?

They'll give the MVP to Ball. Again. Because it's illegal in the NBA for the Blazers to win an award with something.

Last year, Swanigan dominated the SL. Has he regressed? What's happening to this kid? His confidence is probably in the toilet.

Summer league is a hard barometer to judge players. Coaches ask you to do certain things you normally don’t. Your opponents do things they might not normally do. A lot of guys are playing to make a team. There is a lot of disjointed basketball going on. It would be interesting to hear what the Blazer coaches fee about Swannigan this summer, maybe he’s doing the things they want him too?

Well he said it to Chauncey Billups who obviously played with Sheed. He seemed to agree with Olshey and was gushing about how good he thinks Collins is most of the game.

Missed the game but see that it was Jenkins and Goodwin to the rescue. Baldwin (double-double) was the only one of the squad who had been doing so well that showed up again. Collins wasn't bad either but Swanigan, Trent, Simons and Layman all had poor games at once.

    Next.

I don’t get why the team is still dealing with Layman. I just don’t get it.

Huh, have you not watched the games? He's been great until tonight, hustles on defense, has sneaky athleticism, and does have a sweet shot that just needs to start falling consistently and he'd be a rotation level player in the NBA.

Trent mid game needs improve but overall it wasn't a bad game for Gary. He reb well got steals and overall defense was pretty good he need get off the screens quicker but that will come.

Great in summer league huh? His third? You know who was unreal in SL? Donte Green. Remember him? And “just needs his shot to fall” is the nice way of saying he’s a shitty shooter. His athleticism is maybe average for NBA guys in his position.

This was off night shooting for Layman but it was the first in 5 games. They also play close attention to him tonight.
