they showed some pro league last summer on NBATV....there were some college players on it....Travis Watson, the big guy from Pitt....they had a pretty good team

summer pro league is a fun thing but i think that a lot of people are mistaken and thinking that it is going to be something more than it really is...no superstars ever play in the summer pro league...its not worth the risk of injury for them...the idea of summer pro league is for rookies / second and third year players some experience against bigger more 'pro-level' competition...i went to a lot of the summer pro league games last year but I was going to watch the likes of caron butler / drew gooden / amare stoudemire / casey jacobsen etc...lol you gotta be kidding me if you think you're gonna get the chance to see t-mac / kobe etc. for 10 bucks...and i never saw anywhere on the site where it said that those players would be there....a lot of superstars have played in summer pro leagues before....in fact the summer pro league was where i got my first chance to see Kobe play and that is where i first started to love his game...but that was 7 years ago before his rookie season..he didnt even play in it his second season (he was already an all-star no point)

Alot of big name super stars do play in the summer pro league down in California. Some of you guys must be talking about the summer leagues where all the rookies go play at where each team has its own aquad. There website is summerproleague.com
i am talking about the one in california...i have watched it every year for the past 7 years at the pyramid in long beach...most established stars don't play...
yeah...established stars don't play just up and coming college/NBA players...Ontario Lett and Travis Watson played in the spring one with a couple others...
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting "SCBrian":</div><div class="quote_post">i am talking about the one in california...i have watched it every year for the past 7 years at the pyramid in long beach...most established stars don't play...</div> Well this year, I have heard you can expect TMAC, Duncan and some legends in Magic and Isiah. Alot more will show up I hear.
i still dont see where it says those people are gonna show up...but oh well...all i know is i'll be damn happy if they do haha
Carmelo, TJ Ford, Dwayne Wade, Lebron maybe are all said to be there. They are televising it on ESPN this year also.
umm those are not 'superstars' lol so yah those are the players that you would expect to show up to these kinds of things...i would bet 10 bucks that lebron wont get off his high horse and play in a summer pro league cuz he thinks he's too good for it...i really hate that guy...i love melo tho...melo is such a humble guy...he's going to be a classy pro...Bron is just gona be another big headed wanna be hot shot

Well Ianmar told me some big names that are super-stars. so thats where you keep hearing superstars. I heard him mention Duncan, Kobe, TMAC etc.
Bron played against some lil guys...nobody was near him height or strength wise but the NBA will change that
I heard Kobe, T-Mac, and Duncan were supposed to be then thought about it and they will probably be at olympics. I think the site was speculating they would be there.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Bron played against some lil guys...nobody was near him height or strength wise but the NBA will change that</div> That's true but consider this: 1. Bron is a genetic freak of nature. 2. Bron played against competition that was far superior than Tracy's, or Kobe's, or KG's, etc. so the fact that he is bigger than the other guys and played against far superior competition will, I think, give him the head start that the other players didn't have. And why does LeBron come off as stubborn and conceited to some people? I've never really seen him come off like that...maybe because just by his physical appearance he looks like that type of person? Also, regardless if he has a "big head" or not, if the coaches put him on the roster for the summer leagues he has to go.
What team did they play that was competitive? THEY PLAYED IN THE PLAYOFFS AND BEAT A TEAM BY 50+(I think that's the number...if it's not...don't jump on me)....How can u possibly say he played against some competition when they crushed it...I'm not comprehending...He's more developed than all of them...he won't grow anymore....Gimme a break...he didn't play any better competition than Kobe, T-Mac, etc...that's totally out of wack....rethink that explination
That's funny because his team played the toughest schedule possibly EVER for a high school team. You better look this stuff up if you didn't already know.
