Nice little shakeup.</div> Kobe wouldn't want to come to a younger team and I think that's a pretty pointless deal for us anyway. Yes, Kobe is the best player in the world, but if we're gonna trade Pierce we might as well go full youth. Replace Pierce with Kobe on this team, we still don't win much, as good as Kobe is.

And with Kobe, ok, we may win 45 games... cool... but we'd never get anywhere. We wouldn't get much further at all than we would if we just kept Pierce. If we trade Pierce, go youth and finish the movement.

Rumor has Mavs wanting in on the top 10 for Noah. Celts and Wolves came up as possible partners. Wally/5th pick for Terry/Buckner has been discussed on some Mavs boards. Do you do it Celts fans?

hey wow!the opportunity to get a pg who can't run a team and a back up to Gomes!for the #5 pick in a deep and talented draft with loads of big men and dropping some salary... oh wait, we have Ainge as our GM not Isiah Thomas... we SHOULD be safe.
Boston Trades: Tony Allen, Brian Scalabrine, and #5 pickChicago Trades: Duhon and #9 pickNot bad for both teams. Chi moves up and can grab Yi or something and add some size and D in the backcourt aswell as a veteran and tangibles guy. Boston gets solid pg, sheds a wing, and grabs Noah at #9.Rondo/DuhonWest/WallyPierce/GreenJefferson/GomesNoah/PerkinsI like that rotation.

The backcourt of West and Rondo is awful. I would much rather see this lineup:Rondo/DuhonGreen/WestPierce/WallyJianlian/GomesJefferson/PerkinsSolid 2nd unit off the bench!
That's basically the same thing only you have Green starting and Yi over Noah. I am starting to think that Gerald Green is really immature and petty, and that you are infact him.

His value is obviously shot to the ground because of his torn ACL, and Chicago already has Gordon/Thabo. Tony wouldn't get many minutes there, and Chicago would be left with no backup point guard.
Allen could spell Kirk at the point, he did a decent job running the point when given a chance. I think they might take the risk on Allen because if he get healthy it would be a great trade for them. Anyways I just wanna say West>Green at this current time.

Here's why, well he obviously has a lot of work to do but he needs experience more than anything. I think putting him near players like Pierce and Jefferson will boost his confidence and would make him play better. Just my input. I think putting him with people like Michael Olowokandi isn't really telling him: hey, you're a great talent so try to look good out there garbage players near you.

He did a terrible job. I'm guessing you are referring to the last few games of the 05-06 season. TA did terrible at the point and he turned the ball over a lot. Making him a point guard would hinder his development even more than it already is and it would be horrible for the team.

I disagree. I would name Green our 5th best player behind Tony.
