The problem with that would be for us taking on that big contract for the next 4 years. How do you expect us to resign Jefferson?

He's too much of a gamble to trade Green and Ratliff's contract when they could probably be used to bring in someone better like Gasol or O'Neal.
oh I'd rather have Gasol, Joe Johson, O'Neal, KG or Marion.this is more like if none of those options are available, I still think AK is young enough and good enough to warrant a trade like that.C - AlPF - AK-47SF - Brewer (remember we keep the #5 in this instance)SG - Paul PG - RondoBench:Gomes Delonte or GG. (whomever was left)A healthy Allen (crosses fingers)Wally's freaking contract and health issues until the end of 08Perkins and his foul troublethat's easily a eastern conf playoff team if they remain reasonably healthy. If Memphis takes Brewer for some reason, we get Horford or Wright...right?

No matter who Atlanta and Memphis take either Hortford or Brewer should be available, and AK-57 can slide from PF to SF as necessary. I like trading for him much better if it means we can get Brewer. They'd be one hell of a defensive combo.

I don't know about the contract status but I'm guess Theo Ratliff would have to be on the Wolves instead of the Kings.
Boston would never do that. Gerald Green is going to be the best player in the NBA and he's already as talented as KG he just doesn't get the playing time to prove it because Doc is an idiot. Boston gets ripped off in this deal. What were you thinking? In all seriousness didn't the Celts already get rid of Telfair?
^Damn Iversonfan you beat me to it!Wow! What I don't understand is that you're saying Gerald Green is gonna get traded? I thought he was your favourite player. Are you gonna become a T-Wolves fan if this trade really happened?

If we keep Green and he is buried on the bench again next season, I don't see why we don't do this trade. If the Celtics bring Gerald to a place we he can average 30-35 minutes a game and had a confined role on that team, I would be happy. But in no way I would become a Wolves fan. I stick to the Celtics I am a die-hard fan!

This trade is pretty decent among most on the board. Add Reefer and Douby ( ) to the Kings depth chart, and Craig Smith to Minnesota. I think the T'Wolves still get ripped off a little. They are pretty much set at picking Spencer Hawes at 7, I don't think they trade up to take Jianlian, maybe Brandan Wright though.Sacramento would have to give up some pretty decent fillers and give them to T'Wolves for this to be fair.
#5, Wally, Theo, Green, West for Garnett and JaricThen draft Morris Almond/Aaron Afflalo/Marcus Williams with the #32 pickIf only McHale weren't so stubborn..

That's why Minnesota would need to make a seperate deal obviously....And do you actually think they would draft Corey Brewer anyway? No. They would have to draft big men.EDIT: They traded Reed. Bricey won't play.

Getting Brewer along with G.Green would confine their offense fire-power.
unless of course they rolled the dice on Yi at #7 and took Noah at #5OR they could take Noah and Hawes whom they like.

You're saying they would have a logjam at the wings then say they would draft Brewer. Just because he's the BPA doesn't mean you have to draft him. They can go with Jianlian and Hawes.

Thank god the KG deal is somewhat dead and we don't have to worry bout Al being shopped anymore.
Time to look at option B: Jermaine O'Neal. What are the chances of landing this guy? I would want him but not if Gerald is included in that deal. I would much rather prefer them offering something like this: West, Theo, Wally, #5, future 2nd rounder for O'Neal, future 1st rounder. I heard Bird loves West and the 5th pick could be huge for the Pacers.Boston Lineup:PG-Rajon Rondo/Sebastian TelfairSG-Gerald Green/Tony AllenSF-Paul Pierce/Ryan GomesPF-Jermaine O'Neal/Sean Williams/Leon PoweC-Al Jefferson/Kendrick PerkinsIndiana Lineup:PG-Jamal Tinsley/Delonte WestSG-Mike Dunleavy/Marquis Daniels SF-Danny Granger/Wally SczcerbiakPF-5th Pick/Troy Murphy/Ike DioguC-5th Pick/Jeff Foster/Theo Ratliff :happy0144: I can dream, can't I? I heard that LA has JO wrapped up so this trade would be pretty bogus for Bird.
We aren't getting Jermaine O'Neal. Bird already said he will in no way shape or form trade him to an eastern conference team. And that deal would be pretty sh*tty compared to Bynum/Odom anyway.
