Seriously, you think Crabbe is better than C.J.? Or, do you just think we could get a lot more value in return for C.J.?

Personally, I'm just hoping we can find someone under the cap that will take on Crabbe's contract without having to give up anything of value (draft picks) to get them to do it. Something like Crabbe + our future 2nd round pick for their future 2nd round pick, but give the other team the option to swap the picks, depending on which one is better.

I agree. I'd rather move Turner, but I think it would cost the Blazers a lot more to move him.

Obviously CJ is better than Crabbe, I'm not stupid. I also wouldn't just trade him for anyone, but if Jimmy Butler were to become available, that's something I'd definitely be interested in.

Not my idea, but I like it and will borrow it.

Meyers traded for Anthony Tolliver. We my need to add a draft pick as sweetener.

Tolliver's contract only has one more season @ $8 million, but only $2 million is guaranteed.

We would save about $8 million in cap space next season, $10.5 million the next season and $11.2 million for the 19/20 season.

Cleveland’s pick could reduce the Blazers salaries by about $30 million over the next three seasons.

OK, but that doesn't explain why you want to keep Crabbe.

I'd love to get Saric over here, he's 22 & dude's legit! Dunno if Phi would part w/ him (I know he's a bit Simmons-esque but... MAYBE THAT'S why they would...?:dunno:)/not sure exactly what needs to happen/who would need to leave us (anyone except Dame, Cj, Nurk, Moe, Noah) to make it happen but... let's make it happen!:ygrin:

Clarkson would b a great addition.

I'd take a lil' gamble w/ Hezonja; if we don't have to give up much to get him... why not:wink:

I'd totally trade Harkless + MEM + CLE picks for Saric. He may be padding his stats on a team without other options right now, but he's already better than Harkless and will continue to improve. Mo has plateaued as a below average starting SF. He may someday get to average, but that's his ceiling. Saric is already an above average starter and will only get better. Plus, it would be a nice salary dump that would save us $6.5 million a year. PHI is dumb, but I don't even think they are that dumb.

    I agree w/ all that you've said.

If it only took what you've posted to get Saric... I'd pull that trigger all day long!:smiley-beerchug: I like Moe but... IF that were THE deal... nice knowin' u Moe; good luck w/ wherever u land!:smiley-yippee:

TRUE. Phi IS dumb but probably not that dumb:wink:
