Season 2 of Preacher started last night and it was very good. If last night was any indication, they've upped the anti on gratuitous violence. Episode 2 is tonight. Mondays is the regular day for this season, whereas I believe the first season was on Saturday or Sunday.
American Gods. Favorite first season of any show ever. Helps that it's also one of my favorite novels of all time but the show is fan-fucking-tastic. I can't wait for season two.
This show captured the feeling of the first couple of Seasons of Orange is the new Black that Orange has since completely lost.
It's not for everyone. Lots of weird sexual stuff and nudity, and the plot is basically a mystery to the viewer with occasional bits of information that make you realize a lot. Amazing visual storytelling. Oh and Ian McShane is a goddamn treasure. .
