The size of the lucky horse shoe up Pinadas butt is inversely proportionate to his baseball ability. That could have been real ugly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice play by Didi, shift pays off - in fairness Tigers unlucky, one or two more feet in either direction is a two run single.
I guess we can find "luck" in alot of different plays, right down to pitch selection.
It always annoys me when an opposing pitcher is behind in the count and throws a fastball down the middle and the Yankee batter doesn't mash it.

Luck? When was the last time you saw a batter hit a one bouncer over the head of the 3bman for a hit?
Tigers poised to tack on a couple of runs by benefit of leadoff walk and chop single.
Pineda is showing good action/stuff on his pitches- still has control problems, one bad one and bye bye game.

97-mph fastball, followed up with an 89 mph slider, to K Miggy; and I thought Pineda's fb days were behind him...

first time this year Pinhead's hit 97 mph, AND he's wearing his cap straight-wtf gives...worked out of a jam, 100 Pitches for Pinhead...

Pineda (my opinion) has better stuff and life on his pitches than Fulmer- the BIG difference is Fulmer has much better command and location and knows how to pitch.
Fulmer doesn't exactly have overwhelming stuff, certainly not bad but he DOES hit his spots and extends the strike zone just enough.
Good coaching? Instruction? Safe to say Mets' org better than Yankees when it comes to drafting and producing good young SP.

Romine definitely holding his own offensively - pleasant surprise.

This is disgusting- two leadoff doubles, both die at 2b.
Yeesh, how I long for the good old days when the Yanks relied too much on the HR.

What an embarrassment. Rays won so they are getting closer to the Cellar again.

Not advancing runners from 2nd w/no outs, back to back games where the offense isn't competive, terrible middle relief unable to keep games close....yep, they're giving a good demonstration of what an inconsistent mediocre team looks like.

And my main man Strander flubs the dub with two on. As Tom Jones once sang "It's not unusual". End result Wilson rubs Yankees noses in pee for the 2nd consecutive game.

Headley gets a RBI, and once again, bases juiced, an inning of killing any sort of rally, rare as the hide of a Tejas Naga...ie both rallies and Headley RBI's....

And in the Yankee Clubhouse the players gather around a man with a guitar, who plucks up a "C" Chord and the players place new words to the Autry Classic "Back In The Saddle Again"

We're under Five Hundred again, our fans don't regard us as friends.
Come a ti, yi, yay, we lost again today, we're under five hundred again.
