Just saw that article, never remembered Davis as being that good. Turns out he hit 32 bombs a hundred years ago to coincide with other nasty stats negative to a career. Swisher must really feel like chopped liver, Ref & Parmelee called up and the pass him again with a dud like Davis. If Cashman were HR at a real life job he'd be sharpening pencils, making coffee and other implied and assigned "gopher" duties. Shame on the tadpoles for keeping that individual running the team!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Kinsler is an excellent ballplayer.

A couple of Cashman's "latest" moves which are hurting the Yanks and negatively impacting this team seemingly every other game------> compromising the bridge to the big three by trading away Wilson (for not much) and instead going with Yates, Goody, Swarzak ect.
They aren't/can't take full advantage of their big three relievers and turning close games into battle of bullpens over the last 2-3 innings.

Today- Joe the Genius pushed the wrong button by going with Swarzak in the 7th and shying away from using Chad Green who has been outstanding at AAA prior to his call up. 1.61 ERA, 1.11 WHIP, 8.2 K per 9 inn.

I see where Joe The Genius once again pinch hit for Refsnyder- second time this week.
Monday vs Angels he PH for Ref with Hicks who is himself struggling, 8th inn, tie game, one out, no base runners. wtf?
Today, he PH for Ref with McCann who is batting .222 in the 9th inn, two out, nobody on base, losing 4-1.
    wtf?

He says he wants to see if Refsnyder can hit, yet he PH for him in situations where the game was NOT in the balance.
These are the basic little things which - imo - are detrimental to development and instilling confidence in a young inexperienced hitter.

What can I say?....just mark me down in favor of ALSO dumping Girardi if when ownership wants to clean house.

...ownership itself is a major part of the problem.
