<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Oneinpower:</div><div class="quote_post">There is noooooooo way Finley is going to the Suns.
Unless JJ signs somewhere and they trade some of their own players.

The Suns have no Money to make it work.</div>

If the Suns do not sign JJ then there is an excellent chance the Suns sign Finley. His good friend Stevie plays for the Suns, along with the fact Mike was drafted by the Suns and enjoyed his short time in the Valley. Finley also wants to compete for a championship.
Finley also keeps his yearly salary this season from the Mavs which is in the range of 12-15 mill (?). Also the Suns have the money to offer JJ a max deal so why do they not have the money to offer Michael Finley a hefty 1-3 year deal? They would not have to trade anyone.
So while I want JJ to sign more then anything, Fin is a great second option if he does not.

The Suns have about 2 mil. left. They said they would try to trade Voskuhl to save 2 mil. more. With that money I would rather sign a big man.

Would you take your Ex-girlfriend back is she left(or traded) you for another guy(team)?

Just because Finley was drafted by the Suns doesn't mean he wants to go back.

Trust me if the Suns sign JJ and find a way to sign Finley "with no money"
they will have to trade someone this year or next.
    Why?
    One word. Amare Stoudemire.

Finley is not just going to sign a 1-2 million contract just because you think he is. No way.
Finley wants to start for someone.
He doesn't want to come of the bench.

Guys, we are not signing Finley. The signing of Bell should have ended this talk.

Notice that I said the only way we sign Finley is if we do not sign JJ. Please do not confuse my words because there is no possibility that he comes here if we resign JJ (it looks like we will). Also let me point out to you that Steve Nash was once a Phoenix Suns (didn't he sign here after he was traded?) before he and Michael Finley were traded for Jason Kidd and a 1st round pick (Shawn Marion). Finley, like Nash, loves the area and enjoyed his time here. Also did I ever say that Michael would sign for 1-2 million? I said a hefty (meaning large salary) 1-3 year deal!? And yes if JJ does not resign (highly unlikely at this point) then Finley would start, therefore he would not come off the bench. Please read my post before bashing it!
