Fact Marion will get 20,10 F/F Nash will becoem a alley oop thorwing guard to Q and Matrix and become less of a scoring threat <div class="quote_poster">Quoting celtfan:</div><div class="quote_post"> BTW A-squared, why bring up Wang and Yao when talking about Tabuse as a publicity stunt? Are all Asian players, IYO, publicity stunts? You're saying Yao isnt the real deal? Sorry to mess up the thread. F/F - Nash will play out his new contract without any major injuries.</div> And sorry about this but what i mean is has Yao lived up to #1 huge hype status...not quite...and is he twice as popular as he should be because of an asian nba market (aka ballot box stuffing for all star game)...Wang was definitly a stunt Yao to a lesser extent like i said...is it because they are asian not at all...one day will an asian becoem a dominant NBA player, yeah sure...will it be Yao, no he is good because he is big and he isnt great becasue he is big like Shaq...tahts all sorry for messing up this thread
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Fact Marion will get 20,10 </div> Really? He didn't get it last year, and Amare's rebounding should be improving, and Q-Rich is also a good rebounder at the SG spot. Also Steven Hunter if he gets minutes is a better rebounder than Voshkuhl and Lampe, I don't think Marion will get 20 and 10. He'll get 20 and 8.5 - 9.5 rebounds. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">F/F Nash will becoem a alley oop thorwing guard to Q and Matrix and become less of a scoring threat</div> Nash doesn't take that many shots anyways, he just hits a high percentage, so his shots should stay about the same, maybe 1 or 2 less, and he'll be getting more dunk assists as opposed to jumper assists this year. F/F: Joe Johnson will remain a Sun through this season
Fiction: The signing of QRich makes JJ expendable, especially if they can get a good center in return. It's a shame if he leaves, and I really hope he doesn't, but it looks inevitable. F/F: Zarko will have a healthy season where he'll play as good as he did last year, pre-injury.
Fact: Zarko should be reasonably healthy all season, and he can be a promising young player when healthy. F/F: Steve Nash has the most chance of any Sun to make the All-Star game?
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> don't think Marion will get 20 and 10. He'll get 20 and 8.5 - 9.5 rebounds.</div>Some time when a player has stats like those they call him 20 10 bevause if you have those type of numbers they are almost vrtually 20 10. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">F/F: Steve Nash has the most chance of any Sun to make the All-Star game?</div>Fiction,the Matrix has the best chance IMO,like I said if he can have early averages of 20 and 10 I expect him to be voted in or at least a reserve. F/F:The Suns have made the most improvments in the NbA this offseason.
Fiction: The Suns have had a good offseason, but teams like the Nuggets and Jazz have done more to help themselves. F/F: If the Suns miss the playoffs, they have a new head coach for the 05-06 season?
Fact. I believe the new ownership is determined to create a winning team. If D'Antonie cannot produce a playoff contender this year he will get the boot!! F/F If John Paxton had not made the winning 3 pointer in game six, the suns would of won game seven.
Fact. The Suns were too good that season, and too close in that series to let game 7 get away. Chuck would've made sure of that. F/F: The Suns will go (major)injury free this season.
Fiction: I think theres gonna be some injuries in the Suns Starting 4 should i say lol. One of them stars will get hurt ull see Fact or Fiction: Yuta Tabuse will be a very good bench player this season and average over 6 apg.
Fiction, first no one averages 6 apg off the bench uless they're getting 30 MPG off the bench, and Yuta Tabuse will be a practice/IL player. F/F: Marciej Lampe will start at center this season
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting og15:</div><div class="quote_post">Fiction, first no one averages 6 apg off the bench uless they're getting 30 MPG off the bench, and Yuta Tabuse will be a practice/IL player. F/F: Marciej Lampe will start at center this season</div> LOL thats y its Faction or Fiction. Fiction, I think theyll either get a C before the end of the Offseason or theyll just start Jake Voskuhl since he does very well in limited minutes. F/F: Joe Johnson will start over Shawn Marion.
Fiction lol, in his wildest dreams he does, but in real life, all I can say is poor JJ. F/F: Jackson Vroman will be a good addition to the team and really help the frontcourt.
Fact: JV will play hustle minutes off the bench. When the Suns run him and Voshkul, it'll be very high energy, kinda like when they ran Voshkul/Bo Outlaw a couple years ago. Both will help each other a lot. F/F: There will be no complaining about getting the ball from the four scorers on the team (Nash, Amare, JJ, QRich). P.S. I'd add Marion, but I know he wouldn't complain about getting the ball.
Fiction: Because I can see either Q-Rich or JJ getting traded for a better C in the season. There will be enough scoring opportunites for Nash and Amare. F/F: Jake Voskuhl averages at least 6 APG or 6 RPG this year?
Fact:Voshkul could average about 6rpg if he gets the start during the season, but who can predict stats when we dont know who will be starting for the Suns yet. F/F:JJ will average 15ppg off the bench and win 6th man.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Silky Smooth:</div><div class="quote_post">Fact:Voshkul could average about 6rpg if he gets the start during the season, but who can predict stats when we dont know who will be starting for the Suns yet. F/F:JJ will average 15ppg off the bench and win 6th man.</div> Fiction, If you are going to score 15 ppg off the bench you need at least 20 minutes off the bench (Jamison last year's 6th man had 14 ppg in over 20 minutes), I don't know where he is going to get that, Q played 36 minutes per game and Marion played 40 minutes per game, if this were to happen Q would have to cut his minutes down to about 27-30 where he would be unhappy. He does have a shot at getting the 6th man of the year award tho. I really don't even think JJ is going to be on the team next year F/F:Jake Voskuhl will be the Suns starting center.
Fact, I think it will likely be him, could be Lampe, or maybe even Hunter, but for now it's Jake. Also, if JJ doesn't start or get sufficient miuntes this year, he won't be returning to the team. Why would he want to come back and play off the bench. I think as an FA he'll sign with someone like Denver, which would be really good for him and Denver, they'd have one sick team. F/F: Steven Hunter will have improved his game and prove useful to the team
mmm I am going to go with Fact, I have always liked Hunter from his college days. The Suns don't have a lot of depth at the big man spot, he will play OK. F/F: JJ will be traded BEFORE the all-star break.
Fiction: IF [big IF] JJ is traded, it will be before the season starts. F/F: A Suns player will win and individual award (i.e. 6th man, rookie, mvp, all-nba/defense)
Fact, yes you heard me fact if an all-star spot means an award then yes, but MVP IMO is out of question, defensive player of the year, ehh Amare may have a shot but unlikly. But the award that I think a player will win is All-NBA 2nd Team for either Shawn Marion or Amare Stoudemire... F/F - The Suns will get off to a fast start and maybe making a run into the playoffs
