<div class="quote_poster">Brian Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Um, Kevin Garnett is a future hall of famer. You have no idea what you are talking about. Raja Bell is a good defender? Okay, so what. Diaw can give you points? Okay, so what. Both of them are nothing more than role players, and both of them aren't even young anymore, which means what you are seeing now is basically what you will get from them for the rest of their career. Obviously this trade is no way in hell going to happen, because the Wolves GM is not an idiot. But if it did go down, you get another player to pair up with Amare in the paint, you combine that with Marion and Nash in the front court and the Suns are unstoppable.

You're talking about team chemistry. Who the hell cares about team chemistry when you can get a top 10 player in the NBA in KG? You think the Nuggets cared about team chemistry when they traded for AI? No. Garnett >>>>>>>>>> Diaw and Bell

So yes, if you wouldn't trade Diaw and Bell for Kevin Garnett you are on crack</div>

KG doesn't wanna leave Minny first off. This trade won't go down simply because the Suns wouldn't do it. Not because the Wolves wouldn't do it. That would prob. be the best offer they would get besides the Lakers trade. Yeah, KG could possibly be a HOF. So What?? He's old and is only getting older. Diaw and Bell are role players. So what?? They do their job good. KG will just demand the ball and Amare and Marion won't get the ball much. You can't have 4 All-Stars on the same team. It isn't going to work. The AI deal doesn't mean anything. They only gave up Andre Miller who isn't that good anymore and Joe Smith. That's different. Melo is out for 15gms anyways. AI is basically playing by himself.

LMAO. Nash shares the ball, he wouldn't have problems with touches. Marion isn't a type of guy that demands the ball to be effective, and neither is Garnett. Garnett and Amare will be a force in the paint. If you don't think Diaw and Bell are worth KG, then I really have nothing to say to you. Really, I don't. It's just ridiculous. There will be no chemistry issues because Garnett doesn't care about how many touches he is given, as long as he is winning. With Garnett on the squad, it makes the Suns a contender for the championships. As of now, the Suns are not there yet. Sure, they look impressive in the regular season, but come playoffs, teams will exploit them for the lack of defense. They're just like the Dallas Mavericks a couple of seasons ago. Plus, their winning streak that they are currently on isn't really anything to brag about. Most of the teams they have played on the streak are .500 teams or below, so it doesn't really prove anything at all

How does it not prove anything?? It's still impressive to hold a streak like that nonetheless. So, are you saying that Garnett, Marion, and Amare are going to avg. 20ppg?? Everybody's #s will drop dramatically besides Nash who will have a field day. So unless your name's Steve Nash and just wanna avg. more apg, then this trade doesn't go down. Trust me, I want KG to win, but this trade wouldn't go down. They would have to trade away someone like Marion.

I'm not saying this trade would go down. What I'm saying is that if all the Wolves are asking for is Diaw and Bell, you would be crazy not to accept the trade from the Suns point of view. Now, would the Wolves ever do anything that stupid, no. But to say you wouldn't trade Diaw and Bell for Garnett is just ridiculous. Garnett is the most unselfish player in the league. He will not complain and whine if his touches or if his numbers are down. As long as they are winning he will be happy.

As for the streak, yes it is impressive. Not many teams can go on a winning streak for so long, but like I said, most of the teams they have played so far on the streak are .500 or below .500 teams. Not saying that their streak isn't impressive, or that they aren't a good team, but they still have to prove more to me before I actually see them as title contenders
