Late surge by the Suns bench, this lead has suddenly evaporated.

I know this team is young and still learning, and I know it's the Suns, but wow, I figured at some point they'd show a noticeable improvement in being able to put a team away. They just can never seem to do it. Sometimes they win and sometimes not, but they simply cannot seem to learn how to hold onto an extended lead. They revert to the same bad decisions every time. Turnovers including charges, lazy passes, travels, you name it. Ball movement disappears. Long-range bombs off no ball movement start going up and no one rebounds. Depressing.

How many times do I have to say this?! If you are going to foul, make sure they dont make a 3pt play out of it. I am so sick of these soft fouls. If you are going to foul make it worth it like the Mavs or Pistons/Celtics of old. Foul them HARD or dont foul AT ALL!

Monta should be in there to drive. The Warriors are settling for jumpers and getting away from what earned the lead to begin with.

What a steal by Lord Baron!

Disgusting 2nd half, but I'll take it.

Yeah, like Baron said, it got sloppy, but the Warriors weren't handed this win. They came out the first three quarters and blew the ROOF off the Arena. It was enough to pull out the victory, and a W is a W.

    Go Warriors!

Incredible game, Baron with the play of the game. Tons of credit to the Suns bench on the comeback.

If it wasn't already obvious...Charles Barkley is an idiot.

Kenny Smith, on the other hand, had a very good point: GS is great at playing teams that play to their style, but they are not good at imposing that style on teams that don't.

i had a feeling they could steal this game. j-rich absolutely dominated the first 3 quarters. if this guy could just develop some better handles he could become a top 5 SG in this league, it really is the only thing holding him back from becoming a legit star. well, that and free throws. and OMFG at Biedrins' dunk. that was nuts.

I doubt they could win a playoff series, but man, how great would it be just to see it? I think they are definitely one of the most exciting teams in the NBA to watch, if I were the NBA I would want them on national TV just to show how much fun the NBA can be and to showcase two future stars in Biedrins and Ellis. And imagine how the Oracle would be going off, the fans would bring the roof down on that place.

Speaking of the Oracle (I refuse to call it anything else). The place was rocking yesterday. It brought me back to the old days. The crowd was in playoff mode already. I hope they keep this up.

Baron Davis looked horrible in the 4th quarter (outside of one assist to Biedrins and that steal). How many lazy passes did he make? He dribbled way too much as well. I got to listen to the first three quarters, but got to watch the 4th, and I can see why the Warriors team loses, especially close games. How do you go away from Jason Richardson and Stephen Jackson in the 4th quarter? That is just bad leadership in my opinion. The Warriors always seem to have a melt-down at least one quarter of each game. I think that has to go on the leadership on the court. Baron is a good player and he does good things and maybe his knees were tired in the 4th quarter, but he needs to have the leadership to keep what happened in the 4th from happening.

I didn't watch the post game comments from TNT because they usually aren't very interesting, in particular after a Warriors game. However I did catch Kenny's comments later in the post-game show where he said that Clyde Drexler helped the Rockets one year when they were a 6th seed to really improve and I think that was the year they won the title. I am not going to say the Warriors are going to win the title, but the thing that happened only about ten games before the season ended for Clyde and the Rockets was that they found out that Clyde could post up and play around the paint and basket. Maybe, from the comments that I read in this thread, the Warriors have made a similar discovery with Jason Richardson and his ability to play in the paint.

From the radio broadcast I thought it was interesting how they talked about Don Nelson telling Monta Ellis to not shoot threes. Nelson says that Monta can get 16 foot jumpers at will if he wanted to instead of shooting three pointers. Maybe this was also something Monta Ellis was doing in this game, since someone noted that he was taking a lot of mid-range jumpers. I really like Nelson's leadership mentally. Baron Davis needs to have the mental capability to be a good and smart leader to help push this team to a few more wins down the stretch. My hope (at least one of them but a main one) for this season was to have Don Nelson groom this roster, especially Baron and JRich and also Mike Dunleavy into smarter players and leaders. I was actually very disappointed with Baron's 4th quarter performance, well until the steal. But the steal only wraped up the game but doesn't really hide this deficiency.

Well next is Memphis at home. This is a must win. Later that week is a tough road trip, and we know how bad this team is on the road.
