The whole point was that people slam the board and talk about leaving if someone feels different about one player on the team. It seems a little absurd, almost absurd as thinking that everything is completely okay that nothing should be changed. It's not just the Aldridge thread either. There are similar posts in the Lillard/Roy thread. It's like, if someone doesn't agree, this board has completely lost its marbles and they're done posting here. It just seems kind of outlandish considering the whole point of this forum is to... you know.... debate basketball. There's going to be people at one end of the spectrum, others at the complete other end of the spectrum, and a bunch of people inbetween. Why lump everyone into the same category and say "the board this" or "the board that"...
I understand your point. Do you see the irony that you make this post to make a point that people are overreacting to posters. Anyways, not a big deal, more threads and strongly opinionated posters create more traffic, IMO. If posters don't like the topic, they don't have to read the thread. And if they want to use the excuse of a thread to say they are going to leave, they were probably looking for a reason to leave or are trying to get attention. Just wanted to point out that starting a thread like this seems as extreme as some of the posters you are cracking on . . . but maybe that was your intention. One thing is for sure, you just put yourself on the same level as KS . . . and that is no compliment my friend.
I liked his game better when he played with a quality pass first PG and high post Center. He used to dunk all the time. Now it's like he shoots jumpers more and stuff so he must not care... I hope we trade him for spare parts and win a championship! STOMP
