A week in, not impressed by Seattle. But it is one game. It seems to me the NFC West is the best division, though.
I like the Saints prediction. But there are many teams in the NFC that can land in that position. New Orleans, Atlanta, New York Giants, Seattle, San Francisco and Green Bay are all capable of making it there. I also like your Denver coming out of AFC.
I see a whole lot of wishful thinking in this thread. No Oakland fans want to pick the Raiders? Panthers fans? Jaguars? I mean, if we're all just going to pick our favorite team, right?

Niners have ownage over GB right now. 3 games in two seasons. The Pack spent the entire offseason studying how to stop Kaep. They even brought in QB Tolzien from the Niners practice squad. GB did a nice job stopping the run, but it's clear they didn't know about Kaep's arm.
Kaep looked better than I thought he would. I still think at this point he is really a one read QB (and mostly that read was Boldin) who has the ability to buy time with his legs. But, I think he will progress as the year goes on. He was lights out against the Packers. I am very curious to see how he does next week when he will probably be forced to go past his first read, run, throw into coverage, or throw it away. I am wondering what Harbaugh does for gameplanning. Last year the middle of the field was a place you could attack the Seahawks Defense. Not sure this year if that is the case or not. Could make for an interesting battle for years to come with him and Russell Wilson. Even though it is only Week 2, it is a big game. I think the pressure is probably more on the Seahawks since it is early in the season and it is at Seattle. Obviously Niners will be looking for huge revenge from last season's drubbing. Hope it's a good game.
One read? You know Vernon Davis had 98 yards? Kyle Williams had maybe 40 yards, but he could've had another 40+ (the defender swiped Williams' hands before the ball even arrived, should've been PI). I dunno. I guess the most impressive part is that despite the Pack spending their entire offseason planning against Kaep and even signing our 3rd string QB from 2012 (who knows all of the offense), the Pack did a tremendous job stopping the run. We knew what was coming every single play: a pass. How does a team know what's coming every single time and yet they still can't stop it (and he threw for 400+ yards)? Dude is obviously a superior-caliber QB. It's an obvious compliment when the only people slighting/doubting Kaep are fans from a rival team.
Didn't know I was trashing Kaep here... lol I realized he threw to other receivers, but it was almost always the first read... But maybe that was because the Packers secondary is crap. I watched the whole game and it was one of the best games this weekend. Sorry to not call your QB the best QB in the league. Every QB has some weaknesses. He looks like a great QB, but I think he's still developing. He hasn't even played a whole season, so I wouldn't exactly take that as criticism if I were you.
I'm just saying the only people that are poking holes in Kaep's game are Seahawks fans. His game is certainly not flawless, but you have to like the potential. I was merely stating that most people tempering the Kaep hype are Hawks fans, yet Wilson is anointed God's son. I didn't mean to make it sound like you were trashing him - it's just something I've been seeing from Hawks fans. Me, I'm cautiously optimistic. But when you have a receiver like Boldin, he should be your first read. I've always been a huge Boldin fan and believe he's been underrated. Glad to have him, though I'd have preferred him about five years younger.
