The new one is that the Secret Service was providing security for Taylor Swift. Proof that the fix was in.

I'm a Ravens fan. Look at the no calls in that Divisional game.

You just don't beat the defending champs with that many miscues.
    The opening drive fumble.
Second drive putting themselves at 2nd and 27 with an off sides and a holding call.
Losing a punt return on a fluke bounce off an ankle.
Obviously missing an extra point kick might have been the last straw.
They needed the first down on a 3rd and 3 with just under 2 mins left. That also would have been game.

Tearing your achilles while running out onto the field...

The ankle bounce was the biggest play of the game. Niners only gave up 16 points in regulation and 7 of them were of that gaff.

The real issue is that their offense did not produce. They have pro-bowlers at every skill position, and a supposedly genius offensive coach but couldn't move the ball in the 3rd and stalled in the redzone. I know the Chiefs have a good defense, but the 49ers under performed.

The defensive line played really well last night, but for the most part this season, I don't think our DL played better than the opposing. They might need to sacrifice some of their luxuries at the offensive skill positions and get help on the line. If Trent Williams retires....

I'm going to join the silent chorus on that coulda woulda shoulda. If we're going to reach into the past, they should have drafted Penei instead of Trey Lance

Clips all over Twitter of cases where the 49ers had wide open receivers that Brock couldn't hit because he had almost unblocked DL in his face. The Chiefs defender actually fell down on that 3rd and 4th call in OT but Chris Jones came in unblocked.

Niners should trade someone like Deebo and get line help.

There were a lot of cases where the Chiefs had someone open but Mahomes wasn't able to get a good view both directions down field because the defense was smothering his ass.

I don't think the 49ers should move anyone. They should run it back. They just need to grow together. They will be back in the SB.

    And lose again...it's my fate.

I just think it's hard for a team to make good use of having 5 pro-bowl level players at the skill positions on offense. It's sort of like if you have 5 great scorers in the NBA, it's diminishing returns.

3 rushes for 12 yards? In the Superbowl?? A 43 year old John Elway could scamper for more yards then that. What we saw was a Niners QB bouncing passes at recievers ankles, while finishing with 25% 3rd down efficiency. San Francisco should make a real move for a big name QB that won't choke.

I don't think you watched the same game I did... Yes, He threw a few bad passes. But so did Mahomes.

Purdy went 23-of-38 for 255 passing yards and a TD strike to wide receiver Jauan Jennings, who threw a scoring pass of his own to McCaffrey for the 49ers' first TD. Purdy averaged 6.7 yards per attempt by throwing short — often to McCaffrey — was the right game plan to try to beat the Chiefs. Purdy rated a solid 89.3 vs. a tough defense. He also rushed three times for 12 yards.

    All of Purdy's completions:

I mean, maybe Mahomes should be replaced too then....

Mahomes had 9 carries for 66 yards. A nice juicy run in the game winning drive. Did a big hit rattle Purdy? He played like he was scared to leave the pocket and get his jersey dirty.

Has anyone talked to someone who was actually at the game? How do we know that what we saw on TV wasn't AI fakery? The Chiefs coming from behind in the 4th and OT seems way too Hollywood.

I was there. It was 4.5 hours of Taylor Swift campaigning for Biden. But if you put on the stadium issued goggles, you got to watch what appeared to be a football game from the 1960s

Didn't help that the Chiefs were playing like crap on offense for a majority of the game. If the offense was doing more she would have been shown more.
