Jamal Mashburn. Jackson is a good pick too though.
Jackson might have been better had he had any stability. He has been passed around this league like ( insert joke about whore here )
wow. jimmy has been around forever.never knew he has been that good. oh well. oh and i agree w/ that jamal mashburn comment.hmm.. mike dunleavey maybe.. derek anderson maybe.. and maybe stromile swift.. probably not stro actually.actually probably ricky davis.. i don' think he's a superstar yet, even though he is good. not a superstar though. could be.

I remember Kidd, Jackson and Mashburn being the next big thing together in the mid 90s.
The guy isnt really in the game right now, but Pervis Ellison, if it wasnt for his injuries, probably would have been a star. He had a great year, where he averaged something like 20 and 11, but then he got hurt and blew his whole career. He had a decent beginning to his career, but after he averaged 17 and 9, he got hut and went downhill. He blew sooooo much as a Celtic.
In 2003 or 2004 i thought that Zach Randolph looked like he could break out and become a star in this league, but since then he just hasn't done it. He is still young, so he could end up becoming better, but i think it doesn't look hopeful for him. Attitude problems, and team problems are big with him.

I remember that season when everyone was talking about him, and how you'd see him putting up 20 everynight, and straight up dominating guys. Now? NO one cares about him, and he continues to waste his abilities and get fat. Portland really knows how to F*ck up
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Pistonfan11 @ May 13 2006, 07:55 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>K Mart is another good example, but for some reason teams pay him like he is a superstar....</div>He still has time. I have to agree with Zach Randolph but then again he also has time.
Zach Randolph is just going to be a lazy bum the rest of his career because thats what he is, he only uses half his ability and doesn't try hard. But he is still a good offensive player. He shot 43% last year, ouchisymo.
if Zach were to get out of Portland he would do a much better job. I mean just look what happend after C-Webb got out of Washington. He took off.
Matean Cleaves was one hell of a player when he played for Michigan State leading them to a National title but once he got to the NBA things didn't work out. One reason of that being because he was drafted to the Kings who at the time had both Mike Bibby and Bobby Jackson so they didn't really need another point guard. I believe he would of been better if he could of been drafted to a team that was really in need of a point guard.D-Wagner is another one. He was one of the best High school players in the country and did good in College as well but when he got to the NBA things didnt work out as people hoped it would. Kahlid El,alimin was a huge disappointment because he kept getting in trouble with the law. But he was a great college player.
Lamar Odom. He has an excellent all around game and he really is a good player. But he could have been an All-Star in my opinion if he was never traded out of Miami. But either way the talent he has mixed with his unselfishness, versatility, and size, there is no doubt he should be a superstar by now. Also, you guys are putting guys like Dajuan Wagner and Raef LaFrentz on this list when Wagner is out of the league at the moment at one point was on the verge of death! Then Raef, who has terrible knees.
Grant Hill might be considered in that category. Although he did become a superstar, he could have been a Top 15 player ever if not for that injury.

Has anyone mentioned Jason Williams?I just remember him being a very popular player when he was with the Kings. Maybe not the most talented player, but I remember him being very popular and a lot of hype around him his first few seasons in the league. Then he got traded to Memphis and you really havent heard alot about him.
Lamar Odom just has to stop playing in awe of Kobe Bryant. I think the dude is in love with him, and stops during plays just to watch him as if he's a fan like us, watching a game live. He is attacking the basket more aggrasively lately (Pre-playoffs, during the playoffs)
