It happened when everything started to cool down too.- J.R. getting 10 - eh. I would have thought 5-7.- Nate only gets 10? Give me a break. If Carmelo gets 15, Nate should have gotten 12 or 13. He was acting like a tough guy the entire time. Pushing people, provoking them, fighting in the first row, coming at Melo afterwards asking for more. Nate got off easy, that's bullsh** IMO.- Mardy getting 6 is fair. All he really did was commit the hard foul (which is still wrong). He continued to talk trash to Melo though (if Collins kept his mouth shut, the punch never would have happened). But 6 is pretty fair for the rook.- Jeffries getting 4, pretty fair. He kept on grabbing people and running towards. But he didn't throw any punches or anything, at first he was trying to calm things down really until the punch happened.

He's the one that pushed Nate Robinson into the crowd. So when something gets involved with the crowd, you know David Stern is going to be anal about it. I think Nate Robinson got 10 was good too. He was just pushing and shoving and provoking. And JR Smith was the first to start the fight with Nate by actually commiting the physical contact. Collins n Jefferies is straight.
I think mardy should have gotten 2 games just because the foul was really bad, other than that I think jeffries shouldnt get any, maybe 1. All in all I thought they were too strict even though I knew they would be. Glad none of them are on my fantasy team lol.
I figured Melo would get 12, JR would get 8, Nate would get 10, Mardy would get 5, and I didn't even think Jeffries would get any, all I saw him do was try to get Melo at the end. Maybe a 1 or 2 game suspension.
I think Nate should have gotten 2 or 3 more games than Smith because he escalated everything. I'm really mad that Isaiah Thomas didn't get a suspension. You don't go telling players to stay out of the paint and criticizing them for being in the game. The players have said publicly that Thomas even ordered a hard foul. How this is not worth discipline is beyond me.Here's some more of my thoughts on the ESPN Sports Nation poll.http://proxy.espn.go.com/chat/sportsnation...tion19831=80607

I thought Nate would be out for 20+You've got to respect the NBA front office and how they handle these things

Well, can't complain about how long the suspensions are, but that is a big hit on Denver.15 game losing streak anyone?

That's bullsh**.We will never survive these next 15 games, JR Smith and Carmelo are our only consistent scorers. We are in serious trouble.</div>If you watch the tape again, you will see that JR threw a punch and I dont believe Nate did. (As far as I can remember) In the Pacers and Pistons brawl, Ben Wallace pretty much started the whole thing, but he didnt get that many games because he didnt throw any punches. I think that everything is fair.
1 - Earl Boykins2 - Hodge3 - Reggie Evans4 - Kenyon Martin5 - Marcus CambyNot sure if that's completely right, but that's still horrible. They will have to adjust to their no=star presence.

Denver was a better team last year than Boston is this year, and JR wasnt even apart of their team last year. Missing Melo is obviously a big loss, but they still have talent on that team to make it a respectable game. Camby, Boykins, Miller, and Hodge are really going to have to pick up their scoring while Denvers two leading scorers are out.
