The profit motive is anti-life. The only way to preserve or respect life is by setting up rules, which has to come at the government level. Capitalism as a system is just toddlers wearing suits so if you want capitalism as your system you need adult supervision. Capitalism has clearly shown it is not responsible enough to take the car out for a drive but maybe the government will drive it to the mall after school if it does its homework.
