I pretty much agree with all of it, except for maybe the Kirk Snyder prediction. To me, he's going to get some pretty limited minutes, probably around fifteen or so. And, I'm just not sure he'll be able to get nine points in that much time with the superstars on the court. However, in my opinion, if Spanoulis pans out, like Johnny said, he'll be much more than a minor threat. In fact, he could probably give Alston a run for his money for the starting spot if he plays like how he's done in Greece.
Vspan's ppg and impact on the team is completely up for grabs. On;y person who can influence this is JVG and Rafer Alston. If Alston becomes a force then vspan will be nothing and if JVG chooses to bench him then its his to loose. As for Kirk Snyder, I see him as out 7th man because he can play 2 and the 3. All our other bench players are unproven except maybe Luther and hes still young. Vspan, JLIII, chuck Hayes, Steve Novak, Luther Head...we have a relativley young bench. It will be on Shane Battier's shoulders to bring in that leadership along with Yao Ming and Tmac. The rockets are banking on Battier being that missing key to the puzzle.
I`m intrested to see what T-Mac can bring this season after back problems last year. Hopefully it doesn`t flare up again and bench him for a number of games.
What does heart have to do with how his back is functioning? __________________ Nothing! this goes beyond the back, how about never getting past the first round? Being up 2-0 agaisnt the Mavs? Getting completely DESTROYED in game 7. I wanna see him back up his words! Be the player we all know he was and CAN be offensivelly AND defensivelly.
