She's awesome...I've seen a lot of her videos and she's not related to my wife but I've heard she likes dogs deep fried with basil and hot sauce. The music scene in Taiwan is pretty vibrant. I subscribe to her channel. Her name translates as dragon horse. Longma
That reminds me of this, although the performers are a bit less cute: If elephants come, we'll fight in rage! barfo
Former US Advisor: Destroy Taiwan Semiconductor Factories If China Invades A growing body of evidence suggests that the US would blow up the global economy to prevent China from laying claim to Taiwan’s semiconductor factories. https://popularresistance.org/forme...wan-semiconductor-factories-if-china-invades/ No one country on this planet should ever make one of the worlds most important products. It is clearly a national security risk to every nation on this planet to do so. If this ever did happen. I would see no other option but to follow this course of action. You justifiably couldn't allow China to take control of the rest of the worlds chip production.
I'm not sure if this is a new development. Taiwan Is Safe Until at Least 2027, but with One Big Caveat by Derek Grossman November 10, 2021
As well we should, fuck China. I have suspected this is part of the reason TSMC is building so many new fabs in the US, they want to remain viable if Taiwan were invaded. If China were to do this it would be fantastically stupid for them. *edited to fix an autocorrect.
Taiwan leader, US Speaker McCarthy meet in California despite Chinese warnings China will run more amphibious training, not sure what other "retaliation" they have planned. They have been cozying up to Russia and the Saudi's quite a bit lately.
Sabre Rattling...I'm proud of president Tsai for making the trip and being a leader at a time when Taiwan needs strong leadership
Totally agree it's sabre rattling as I don't believe the Pacific to be the powder keg that some others do. Also completely support Taiwan and their democratic leadership doing whatever they wish. The posturing to Russia and SA are what's more concerning in regards to China, imo.

Xi Jinping has told his military leaders to be prepared to invade Taiwan by 2027. But I think that how the situation pans out in Ukraine may ultimately influence his decision. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...ays-Chinas-Xi-little-sobered-Ukraine-war.html
Did a little googling because I had never heard of the place, but from just looking at the pictures, it appears to be a beautiful island.
It's the doorstep island if a mainland invasion happens.(actually it's a chain of islands that used to be called the Pescadores by the Portuguese) The main island is called Penghu...lots of soldiers live there. First line of defense for the Taiwanese army
