I really think people are underestimating the impact that a death in the Blazers family and a major trade can have on a close team like ours. Not only did they lose Jerome, but they had three guys head out of town. That had to have an impact, and the team just looked very out of it after the All-Star break.
I think you are bored and just like to argue! Hell, anything is possible but realistically what is "probable"? not goin to waste any more time on this
Actually you are right. I worry more about games where we have more than 1 days rest. We are a little shaky when we have too much rest. I blame that on Dame's problem with drinking like a fish
Not sure about the impact of a death of a former player has had but you can most certainly see some effect of the bench rotation. The balance of the players coming off the bench seems to be a little off still. There has got to be a little security issue and maybe some confidence things going on. This has got to be expected. Really you have got to get 10-15 games played to come up with the solid rotation. Yesterday you watched Freeland come back for a couple minutes. Alonzo Gee also had an impact that i would not discount. The bench did indeed improve but i am very sure there are some questions about exact rotation going forward. Seems like Affalo was pushing a bit yesterday but Wes was back on a bit. Those two will work it out but the rest will have to wait and see?
Drinking like a fish has always made me wonder???? Do they swim and drink at the same time? Does Dame drink in the pool area at the Motel? Bathtub? Maybe he stands by the fish tank and does that funny jaw movement that fish do?
+> Also it could be one moment to the next. Its hard to hold the stuff down in the 4thQ when nails dig into the chair and leads evaporate like water in the sand.
If we go 63-19 then we need 12-0 to proove we are worthy of 63-19. It may be alright to lose only a few to taste the hunger to win in the playoffs. I love this team and would want miracles worth of a Saints visit. Please.... no blow out losses to loser teams like Utah (like we had after the all star break).
They will lose 3 of those games and I'll tell you why: Because I predicted 60 wins. Homer has spoken.
Of course. I think Kingspeed was the only one to -honestly- think we wouldn't lose a game. There are just too many variables.
I just don't think this team has a player on it and more specifically a key player where a loss devastates them. I think it's a team that is ok losing one here and there.
Kingspeed with these bait threads man. You know it's improbable for a team to go perfect for the rest of the season. Likely it won't happen. Don't bet your house, or your woman or your car on the Blazers winning every game down the stretch. It's not happening. Granted, I do see the Blazers winning a lot of the games. Should help to get the team clicking for the playoffs. Lillard looked great today, even in a loss.
