Question, I have downloaded the app Tapatalk (recommended by users on this site) in order to keep up with discussions Ive been a part of. One nice feature that I get on my phone is that if someone quotes my post I get a notification. I do not see that feature on the desktop version. Am I missing something in the settings?
You can set the desktop to send you emails when someone posts in a thread you've subscribed to. Subscription options are in your settings. Settings link is in the upper right corner of the page. From there, click on General Settings link in the left column. You'll see Messaging & Notification options.
Danny, thank you for getting back to me. Although I understand the concept of subscribing to a thread and getting notifications when a new post is in a subscribed thread...this scenario is a little different. The app will notify you when someone quotes you. It is a great feature IMO. Different then subscribing and getting a notification every time someone says boo in a thread. No biggie if it isnt a option with the web base/desktop version.
