Not really. When you don't have home court teams rarely win game one on the road. This year 4 of 8 did and that was crazy weird?
Well what about the Game 1s we’ve won on the road during that time? 2010 & 2014. Also we were in WCF in 2000. I’m confused as to what you consider to be purgatory. What teams haven’t been in purgatory? The champions? Spurs, Warriors etc? And the awful teams that go to lottery every year hoping that they’ll land a pick that will get them to .500? Or a pick that will leave them when he hits his prime? The Trail Blazers have been a very successful sports franchise over a very long period of time and we’re lucky to have them in Portland.
Some team named the Pelicans won the first two games on the road last year. And purgatory has nothing to do with winning a Game 1. It's making the Playoffs without any shot of doing any real damage. Not good enough to be very good...not bad enough to have a chance to get a difference maker where most of them are taken.
His timeout usage, as well as rotations. Felt like in game 2 he basically used all his timeouts in the first half. Morris/Grant lack of minutes.(Grant is over 30 both games but still should prolly have more. He's a good defender) Felton eating 2k's or Schroders minutes. IDK if this is all stuff good for videos as I'll be honest. I don't watch many videos ever. I did watch your g1 recap as well as a couple others throughout the season.
