Most of these are probably the same as most of you, because MVP's of teams are pretty easily noticeable because of the impact they make in the games. I'm not necessarily going for the best player on a team, because many of the players this year have missed too many games and haven't been able to do much. The fact that Seattle are now 27-34 just reflects his inconsistency, going by your reasoning. I love Rashard, but there is no way in hell he's been Seattle's MVP thus far.

He's been their most consistent player without a doubt, he'll give you 15-20 points, 12-15 rebounds every other night. He's been a monster on the glass as well as giving some scoring production. At times, he has even put the Warriors on his back. Sure, J-Rich has been the man scoring for Golden State, but I'd possibly even say Cliff because of his clutch shooting down the stretch. Brian Cardinal and Speedy are some other good names as well.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Ice Breaker:</div><div class="quote_post"> Golden State: Erik Dampier </div>I know you weren't the only one to put Dampier here but I don't see how it is Damp. It has to be J-Rich. Who has the ball in the final minutes of every Warriors game? Jason Richardson. Dampier isn't in the game more than half the time in crunch time. He is a great rebounder, I'll give him that. Maybe I its the coaching staff not using Damp as much as they should but whatever the case, J-Rich is the Warriors MVP.
I think that people can't really comment on teams they don't watch. So far I've just seen posters post the team's highest scorer, barring a few posters. Even the posters who elaborated on their picks I felt shouldn't have been discussing it. Just stick to what you are sure you know. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Grizz: Gasol(the Grizzlies win alot of games because their depth but when times arent going so well they run go to plays for Gasol, so he has the pressure on his shoulders to right the ship. Thats usally what MVP's do so I give it to him)</div> Actually, Henacy, Gasol is the one players most Grizzlie fans DON'T want to see with the ball at the end of the game. He's lost more games off of missed shots, turnovers, and fouls than he has hit game winning shots. In the last seconds, if it's the other team's ball, Gasol is actually pulled most of the time so Outlaw can come in and play defense. The player who gets the ball at the end of the most games for the Grizzlies is Shane Battier. Next to him it'd probably be Jason Williams or James Posey. Also, if having the other team put pressure on you in the last minutes of the game makes you a great player, then Robert Horry must be "God". Anyway, here is my one selection. Memphis - James Posey I have preached this since his first game (I've got month old posts to back that up. ). He is a bigger offensive presence than Gasol, he plays better defense than Gasol, he tries harder than Gasol, and he's just a better all-around player. It's not about the great stats that he's been getting as of late. He's been the Grizzlies' best player all year. Gasol is a matador on defense and a little baby on offense. No way is he the team's franchise player.
I didnt mean that Grizzlies wanted the ball in the hands of Gasol for a game winning shot. I mean during the course of a game every team goes thru a stretch where they cant seem to produce a basket. And during those times Hubie is more like to draw up a play to get Gasol the ball over anyone else. And I choose Dampier because he has to compete against the likes of Shaq, KG, Duncan every night on the boards in the low post, so when its close between a guard like Richardson & a bigman. You have to show the bigman respect for doing all the dirty work, especially in the west with the competion he is facing in the post. Thats just my opinion.
