Houston is NOT the most overpaid. You're a Knicks fan and I have to stick up for him. He's dropped 50 twice. Most overpaid is either Vin Baker or Juwan Howard. Howard is playing pretty well, but he has that HUGE contract.
i agree but before the 2 50's he hassent been scoring that much but vin and howard are overpaid but houston is earning 100 mil and he should be playing like he's freakin superman... not even iverson is eaning that much
the nuggets likes howard's contract though, because it's a 19 mil expiring deal. so they get 19 mil for this summer in fa.
^^Per year...I think. I`m not sure on how money goes in the NBA. But if thats the money per year, Mutombo is making way to much.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Bobcats:</div><div class="quote_post">Guys this thread is over a year old. Why would you bring it back up?</div> But it doesn't matter since Shaq is indicated as a Heat instead of Laker as with other players so what's the problem with discussing a page that is updated and new? Shaq is so god damn overpaid, even more than the guy that I want to hear rap, Mutombo. He's only worth 18 million maximum because this is not the best Shaq we're talking about of Shaq's career.
Hindsight is 20/20. Does anyone remember how Croshere played in the 2000 Playoffs? At that time, most teams would've given him what he got. No one knew he would just sit around after that. GM's are now pushing for a max contract to be 4 years, to get rid of problems like these. I think it's a good thing, cause: 1. You ereduce the risk of overpaying injured or underperforming players 2. Players who later find out they're on losing teams can go to a better team instead of demanding a trade in the middle of their contracts
NBA payrolls as a whole is just rediculous. Its amazing. I told mom she should have set me to basketball camp when i was five years old. lol
