    I don't think there's any problem with playing role players over more talented players. All-Star teams are not necessarily the best teams.

    Obviously, Robin Lopez among them. But (a) including the 4 is a cheat, because he's strictly a 5, and (b) a ton of them have made it clear they don't want to play.

    Thompson? Nada.
    Faried? Never.
    Parsons? Not yet.
    Drummond? Nein.

    Half the team have never been All-Stars.

    Absolutely ridiculous to make them go through the charades of all these publicity stunts (rally at the parks, photo sessions, etc etc) if you don't even the play them in the game. Why take 15 if you're gonna play 11

    i hope Dame doesn't even consider team USA in the future. If he cannot beat out guards like Rose (who is better when healthy, but is hot garbage atm) or Irving, how does he beat out someone like CP or Westbrook. Not worth risking a dumb injury in practice.
