He was the best player in that stretch. Wade had 21 points at halftime, and Kobe actually had some decent blocks we didn't do jack to capitalize upon. Kobe gave up that facial, but why are you picking solely on his defense? We made Navarro look like Steve Nash. They both played great, I'd go with Mr. Clutch though.
Because we were discussing Kobe and his clutch and non-clutch plays. So in that respect I brought up when he made a bad defensive gamble. Well if we just consider 4 minutes of the game, then I would give Kobe the award for those 4 minutes, but throughout the game Wade was the guy who attacked the rim, got big steals, hit 3s.
Centers: Tim Duncan (#13), Emeka Okafor (#10) Forwards: Carmelo Anthony (#8), Carlos Boozer (#7), LeBron James (#9), Richard Jefferson (#15), Shawn Marion (#11), Lamar Odom (#14), Amare Stoudemire (#12) Guards: Allen Iverson (#4), Stephon Marbury (#5), Dwyane Wade (#6) Talent difference. I see one.
I think Wade didn't have the best clutch defense either then. :/ A fair point, Wade was great. I thought everyone looked real timid out there though when we needed to end this game. Further, Kobe was a better facilitator. :]
A real coach would have won gold with that group. The clown was too ego-filed to play the guys that should have played and bench the ones that were killing the team.
