I look forward to seeing the string of actresses and supermodels who will no doubt be seen with Rudy Fernandez starting in the very near future.

Rudy was just unstoppable. I really hope that he'll find success in the NBA, he has the talent to, but great European players have gone to the NBA and gotten their asses kicked before...

But Kobe was so super clutch. 8 minutes left, 2 point game, and then Kobe was part of 15 straight points.

    God I love this team.

I'm sorry, but the players of the game to Kobe and Wade, Wade for the first half where 21 of his points came from and a majority of his steals (This is NOT a knock on him). Kobe did all his damage in the 2nd half.

Like I said, I think the playerS of the game were Wade and Kobe for their respective halves of the game.

LeBron was a rebounding machine in this game btw, just wanted to throw that out there too lol

Wade and Kobe played great tonight. I'm still going to pick up a LeBron jersey though for what I've seen him do throughout the competition.

LeBron has played great throughout the entire tournament. Kobe and Wade played great tonight, but they both had a stretch of two games where they kinda were ineffective offensively. LeBron has been a constant throughout.

I already have my Kobe USA Jersey :D
The store at the local mall is selling the USA jerseys, and my friend works there so I got a 15% discount too, hehe

My opinion is that you could build a tournament winner around almost all of these players, and most of them could take over in crunch time and be pretty damn effective.

So I'm calling this a great team win for the USA, the greatest basketball nation on Earth.

The USA's biggest problem has always been that there are so many elite players that it's impossible to leave some off to build a better team. Isn't that the greatest testament to how awesome USA basketball is? Again, we sent the best players instead of the best team and this time we still whooped everyone's asses.

How curious would everyone be if the NBA decided to send whoever won the Championship that year to go compete in the Olympics of that year..

Not an idea I support, just a curiousity thing.

LOL. What about the foreign players?

David Stern has brainwashed you into thinking the NBA is a country!

Well, does that mean that if the Lakers won, Gasol plays for the US? I doubt it.

If not, then I don't agree with doing that. Salary cap makes it impossible for USA's best players to all be on the same team. I would be against your proposition.

Well I don`t know about super clutch, he missed 2 3 pointers a couple minutes earlier before hitting those other 2. As well he made a foolish gamble that gave Rudy Fernandez a posterization on Dwight.

He did set up Dwight and Wade for good plays. And he was set up nicely for his wide open 3 (I think it was Wade or Deron) and a 3 in which Rudy F was scrambling back.
