Tell me why Simmons, Hassell, Najera should play meaningful minutes this season

    I really don't see the defense you're referring to... especially the quickness. I will look out for it. All he is to me is a shooter, and only on certain spots of the floor. That's a shooter off the bench to me.

    Perhaps I didn't make my point as clearly as I should have. I wasn't stating that he was "quick" on defense. I was acknowledging that he is NOT quick but is very physical when defending near enough the basket that bodying up becomes an option. So there are certain SFs that he could guard with some competence or efficacy.

    I agree that his only viable offensive talent is long range shooting. He did score on consecutive post ups the other game, but he made a couple of horrible decisions from there once the defense brought pressure, which is probably why we won't see him posting up very often. But I can't say with real assurance that he is only effective shooting from certain spots. He certainly seems to be better from the corner, but he's also hit a couple this year from nearer the center wing area. After another 10-15 games, we could check his shot charts and get a more reliable gauge of that.

    You're right, I misread the quick part. Well, if we were facing a physical SF like Artest, I'd play him in matchups.
