I'd still root for Portland if we had Cousins, but I'd gripe a lot.

If we get Lebron, I'm actively rooting against the Blazers until he's gone.

I don't think refs like Sacramento either lol, they literally stole a championship from them.

Absolutely false. We have ZERO chance at getting LBJ, but if we really wanted DMC we could easily get him by offering CJ. If by some bizarro-world twist CJ didn't land us DMC, we could up the ante by offering Dame. Now, that said, I don't believe we would ever offer Dame, and highly doubt we would offer CJ - but the point remains that we could easily land DMC, and therefore there is no similarity between LBJ and DMC on that point.

These boards crack me up sometimes.

Rasta says NO, and then promptly repeats what I said.

Fair point, although if LeBron snapped his achilles we could probably get him for Lillard.

Okay, these two things are contradictory. If what I said involves "likely" and what WM said doesn't, then I didn't repeat what he said.

    Here's what I meant:
Yes it's POSSIBLE that DMC will be traded.
No it's not possible that it will be to us.

    Clearer?

If you like we can get into the distinction between logically possible, metaphysically possible and physically possible, and how to explain each using Stalnaker's possible world semantics (expanding on an idea first found in Leibniz and satirized by Voltaire in Candide. Personally I'm quite sympathetic to David Lewis's extreme modal realism, despite its fantastical implications, and don't think Saul Kripke's criticisms against it really find the mark.

    Clear. Thanks for the clarification.

OK, now WHY? What's this great offer others will throw at the Kings?

Be for Portland trading for DMC.
Be against Portland trading for DMC.

But stop comparing DMC to Sheed, due to in-game tech's.
Sheed was raved about by teammates for being a locker room guy and the best teammate they ever had.
That is something that can't be said about DMC.

My biggest concern with Cousins is that he only has 1 year left on his contract. Trading CJ for him is risky because he could leave after 1 year.

But he qualifies asa hard worker and not concerned about image.

Can we trade for him and immediately restructure/renegotiate a new contract at any time? Maybe do the trade only with his signing of an extension of some sort right out of the gate?

The closer we get to the deadline the more desperate they will get. We should do everything we can to retain CJ.

Lol. This was the first thing I came back to. Thanks for the concern guys. Jail would have been nice, but I just had that life stuff going on.... Kinda sucks- I posted this one to be funny, and stir the pot a bit, then I missed most of it.

I would bet good money that Sacramento will end up keeping cousins and eventually lose him for nothing, because Sacramento

Divac doesn't give off savvy vibes
