What you're forgetting is the weather will more than likely get much MUCH worse in January in places like Denver, Baltimore & New England.

The weather MIGHT be much worse or it might not. I think the Colts have played enough in cold weather to be able to overcome fairly low temps. If the temps drop below 30, then there might be cause for some concern. Snow or freezing rain could be disasterous for the Colts, but I don't think that any of us can really know what the weather is going to be like when the playoffs roll around. If the Colts' opponents are counting on freezing weather or winter storms to win, then that should tell you something about the teams the Colts could be facing. I still say that San Diego is the last place the Colts want to go this winter because I think the Chargers are that good and the best balanced team in the AFC.

I was the 1st to predict that the Chargers would be going to Miami in February & I'm sticking with that prediction, but obviously I think the Pats have a chance as well. The Colts have ZERO chance IMO.

Back to the big picture... Once again, VY outperformed Ron Mexico.

After the draft, I'll admit was incredibly skeptical of VY but so far am wrong.

The Colts beat the Patriots in New England THIS YEAR and they still get disrespect. How many times do the Colts have to beat the Patriots before you will give them more than ZERO chance? I just don't see how Patriot fans can take this viewpoint when the Patriots have struggled to defend their homefield and in a couple of cases got beat, like when the Colts beat them. This is one day after the Patriots almost let the Detroit Pussy Cats beat them on their homefield. I just don't see this Patriots team as being anywhere near as good as the Patriot teams that have boug...cough....I mean won the Super Bowl.

I, too, had zero expectations that Vince Young would do anything in the NFL. I just didn't see it happening...

"So far" I am wrong as well. That could still change. I've seen guys start out great and go completely to s*** before, so it could still happen.

I had my doubts about VikingFan too, but I never would have thought to compare him to Michael Vick. [IMG]

Anyone who watched VY vs. Ohio State saw he was capable of making plays from the pocket. Also considering that Young is 6-5 he does have a lot of upside. I thought he was a lot like Randall Cunningham to be honest. I rated him #2 behind Leinart but still expected this play out of him. Just not this early to be honest.
